I trembled as I crawled out of bed and moved beside Liang Ze, gently tugging at his pant leg. 0
"Liang Ze, please, don't hurt her, okay?" 0
Liang Ze angrily pushed me away without mercy. 0
I fell to the ground, coughing violently, a metallic taste flooding my throat. 0
Blood spurted out, staining my clothes. 0
Liang Ze instantly panicked, instinctively reaching out to help me. 0
But halfway through, he abruptly withdrew his hand. 0
Ignoring my injuries, I crawled back to Liang Ze and grabbed his pant leg. 0
"Liang Ze, I beg you, don't hurt her, please?" 0
Xiao Ma sobbed nearby, "Ze Ge, please don't make things difficult for my sister; it's all my fault." 0
Liang Ze took a deep breath, suppressing his inner fury. 0
He looked at me coldly and said, "Shen Mingyue, I never expected you to end up like this." 0
"When you betrayed me back then, did you ever think it would come to this?" 0
I gritted my teeth and replied, "I told you, I didn't betray you." 0
"You're full of crap!" Liang Ze shouted harshly. 0
"It was I who saved you from the pile of dead bodies back then, yet you colluded with the police to try to kill me." 0
"Shen Mingyue, has your conscience been eaten by dogs?" 0
I bit my lip hard, unable to say a word. 0
Seeing my silence only fueled Liang Ze's anger further. 0
He pulled out a dagger and threw it in front of me, saying coldly, "Don't you want to save her?" 0
"One finger for one eye; how about that?" 0
Without hesitation, I picked up the knife and aimed it at my left pinky. 0
Just as the blade was about to touch my finger, Liang Ze suddenly kicked the dagger away. 0

The tremendous impact caused my wrist to dislocate. I was in so much pain that my face turned pale, and a layer of cold sweat formed on my forehead. Liang Ze stared at me for a while and said in a deep voice, "Xiao Ma, call Old Lu and have him come over!" Old Lu was Liang Ze's personal doctor. 0

Half an hour later, he arrived at the villa, skillfully bandaging my injury and correcting the dislocation. Liang Ze stood beside me, nervously watching. Just as Old Lu was about to pack up and leave, he suddenly noticed my right hand and his expression changed. "Did the other wrist dislocate too?" 0

He didn't dare to delay and hurriedly helped me correct it. Liang Ze frowned beside me, asking, "How did the other wrist get dislocated?" Old Lu explained, "Miss Su's body is already weak, and with the external force impact, it's easy for her to have habitual dislocations." 0

Liang Ze snorted coldly, "Don't try to fool me." Old Lu gave an awkward smile, "I'm just speaking the truth; believe it or not." After saying that, he picked up his medical kit and turned to leave. 0

As he reached the door, he seemed to remember something and turned back to me, saying, "Miss Su, don't move around for a month; otherwise, it will be easy to have habitual dislocations in the future." I nodded and quietly thanked him. He sighed and said nothing more. 0

Liang Ze's human factory was sealed by the police, resulting in significant losses. He suspected that I had tipped them off. I shook my head, "It wasn't me." Liang Ze sneered, "Shen Mingyue, have you forgotten who was surrounded by the police? It was me risking my life to save you." 0

"Now you say it wasn't you; do you think I would believe that?" I bit my lip and explained, "Since I came back, I haven't left the room at all. How could I have passed information to the police?" 0

Liang Ze stared at me for a while, snorted coldly, and turned to leave. 0
Xiao Ma looked at me with concern: "Sister, Ze Ge no longer believes you. You should run!" 0
I shook my head: "I can't run." 0
"I will never admit to something I didn't do." 0
"Besides, the purpose of my return has not yet been achieved." 0
Xiao Ma looked puzzled: "Sister, what is your purpose for coming back?" 0
I smiled but said nothing. 0
My purpose, of course, was to personally put handcuffs on Liang Ze. 0
Xiao Ma sighed and didn't say anything more. 0
She gave me some food and then turned to leave. 0
After she left, I stared at the ceiling, lost in thought. 0
Earlier, Xiao Ma told me to run quickly. 0
Was she worried about me or testing me? 0
Or perhaps there were listening devices in the room. 0
Regardless of which it was, I needed to gain Liang Ze's trust as soon as possible; only then could I ensure my own survival. 0
