After a few drinks, I felt a bit excited.
"Let's go for a walk!"
I stood up.
Jiang Yehan took off his jacket and draped it over my shoulders.
We walked hand in hand down the street at night.
Suddenly, I really wanted to dance.
I pulled Jiang Yehan to a small path in the woods where various music played all day, and we started dancing.
Under the influence of alcohol and music, I felt like I was back in my childhood.
At that time, I was carefree, and the happiest thing every day was playing with my parents.
I closed my eyes and spun and jumped to the music.
As the song ended, I leaned against Jiang Yehan's chest, laughing happily.
Jiang Yehan helped me sit down on a bench by the roadside.
"Your alcohol tolerance is really poor; you didn't even finish one drink before getting drunk."
"Who says that?"
I laughed and wrapped my arms around Jiang Yehan's neck, "I can handle my alcohol; it's just that you're too good at it."
Jiang Yehan looked a bit tired but still incredibly handsome.
I looked at him and couldn't help but swallow hard.
"Do I look good?"
Jiang Yehan suddenly asked.
My cheeks flushed, and I felt a bit shy, "You look good."
Jiang Yehan smiled slightly.
I swallowed again, stood on my tiptoes to get closer to him, "I really like you."
After saying that, I kissed him on the lips.
Jiang Yehan was stunned.
I smiled and took a step back, "What's wrong?"
Jiang Yehan came to his senses and pulled me into his arms, leaning down to kiss me.
I closed my eyes, feeling his breath.
His kiss was gentle yet commanding.
I wrapped my arms around his neck, entwining with him.
In that moment, I felt as if I were floating on a cloud, light and comfortable.
I don't know how long it lasted before he slowly released me.
I leaned against his chest, gasping for breath.
"Jiang Yehan..."
I softly called his name.
"Mm?"
He responded.
I lifted my head to look into his eyes, "I love you."
Jiang Yehan's body stiffened slightly.
I smiled, "I really love you."
Jiang Yehan gazed at me, his eyes deep.
I leaned in again and kissed his lips.
The night was hazy, and the lights sparkled.
Jiang Yehan and I shared a passionate kiss under the night sky, lost in our own world.
Suddenly, Jiang Yehan's assistant rushed over, speaking urgently in his ear with a serious expression.
After listening, Jiang Yehan's face turned grave.
He gently stroked my head, "I have something to take care of; you go back first, okay?"
I nodded slightly and said, "Okay."
I could tell that his expression was serious; it must be something important.
Jiang Yehan kissed my forehead and said, "Go back."
I responded and turned to walk away.
Jiang Yehan didn't move; he just stood there watching me, his gaze deep as if he wanted to engrave me into his mind.
I waved at him, saying, "Come back early."
Jiang Yehan nodded but remained still.
I kept looking at him until I had walked far away, and only then did he turn to leave.
But I felt that his back was so heavy, so urgent.
I couldn't sleep all night, waiting for him to return.
However, what I got instead was his assistant, who took me to the plane back home.
"Where is Jiang Yehan?" I asked the person who came to pick me up as soon as I got off the plane.
The driver hesitated and said, "Young Master is busy; let me take you home first."
I had a vague sense of foreboding in my heart.
"Where is he?" I pressed on.
The driver had no choice but to tell me, "Nanjing Villa."
That was where Jiang Yehan's mother lived.
