The king, upon hearing this, stood up excitedly and quickly walked in front of the three, asking, "Where is the sheepskin map now?"
"It's right here," I replied.
He detailed to the king how he obtained the sheepskin map, then took it out along with the Emerald and handed them to the king.
The king took the sheepskin map and the Emerald, examining them carefully.
As he looked, an expression of excitement appeared on his face, and his body trembled with anticipation.
"Wonderful, wonderful! The sheepskin map has finally appeared; the curse of Lilliput may finally be lifted," the king exclaimed.
He looked at the three and asked, "Do you know the origin of this sheepskin map?"
The three shook their heads, indicating they did not know.
The king took a deep breath and slowly recounted the history of the sheepskin map.
Long ago, Lilliput had a divine fruit known as the Exotic Fragrance Fruit.
This fruit grew on a tree called the Exotic Fragrance Tree, which stood over ten meters tall with lush branches and leaves, each leaf about the size of a palm. Each tree could only bear one fruit.
The Exotic Fragrance Fruit was shaped like a curled-up doll; its skin was purple, its flesh white, and its seed black.
This fruit only bore once every five hundred years, producing just one fruit each time, and it had to be harvested when fully ripe; otherwise, it would lose its fragrance and effectiveness.
The properties of this fruit were extraordinary; just smelling its aroma would allow one to go a month without food or drink without feeling hunger.
Moreover, this fruit could heal the dead and restore life.
Thus, this fruit was revered as a divine fruit in Lilliput, and every year a grand ceremony was held to celebrate its ripening.
However, a thousand years ago, a mysterious woman in black suddenly appeared, bringing with her a strange insect that specifically fed on the roots of the Exotic Fragrance Tree.
In less than half a year, all the Exotic Fragrance Trees were destroyed, and the Exotic Fragrance Fruit disappeared from existence.
Worse still, since the destruction of the Exotic Fragrance Tree, the people of Lilliput suddenly lost their sense of smell; no one could detect fragrance anymore.
The king was heartbroken and mobilized all resources in the country to search for a way to lift the curse but found nothing.
"I have been searching for a way to lift this curse for a thousand years without success," sighed the king.
He looked at the three with a grateful smile on his face and said, "I never expected that today you would obtain the sheepskin map; this truly is heaven's help for Lilliput."
The king gently stroked the sheepskin map, his expression becoming complex as if he recalled many past events.
He slowly recounted the events that took place that year. At that time, he was handling state affairs in Royal Cave when suddenly a young soldier rushed in, reporting that a mysterious woman had intruded into the kingdom. The king was furious and immediately dispatched troops to capture her. However, the woman was incredibly powerful; with a wave of her hand, she annihilated an entire battalion. The king was astonished and quickly sent more troops to encircle her. Yet, no matter how many soldiers were sent, they never returned. The king grew fearful and personally led the army into battle. When he finally saw the woman, he was left utterly stunned.
