"What did you say?"
Chen Li looked completely astonished.

The men were carrying torches, searching everywhere for Chen Li.
Half an hour later, Chen Li was brought back, tightly bound.
At that moment, Chen Li had a bruised face and her clothes were in tatters.
She cursed, "Zhang Huai, you bastard, how dare you sell me."
Zhang Huai stepped forward and slapped her hard.
"Shut up."
Chen Li glared at him fiercely, her eyes filled with rage.
In the next second, she made a shocking move.
She opened her mouth and bit down hard on Zhang Huai's ear.
"Ah—"
Zhang Huai let out a piercing scream.
Laughter and whistles erupted around them.
That night, Chen Li was tortured by a group of wolf-like men until she was unrecognizable.
She was locked in the cellar like a dog, with countless men coming in and out every day.
The sounds of curses and beatings echoed endlessly in the cellar.
