Until this moment, a hint of genuine smile finally appeared on the stunningly beautiful face of Lin Yaru. She absolutely loved raffles and was quite skilled at them! Xie Dongshi was slightly taken aback. Following the source of the voice, he turned around and saw a sweet-looking girl with an enchanting presence standing at the edge of the crowd. She wore an excited expression, her lips curled into a sweet smile as she waved her delicate hand and pushed her way forward.
"Well then, since this young lady is so eager, let's allow her to draw first."
Xie Dongshi's words sounded strange; what did he mean by 'eager' and 'draw first'? It felt less like a raffle and more like signing up for a suicide squad. Lin Yaru thought his words sounded so awkward and jarring.
She reached out her hand cautiously into the raffle box while muttering to herself. When she turned her head inadvertently, she noticed the group of elegantly dressed ladies had expressions that were... how should she put it? They looked both expectant and fearful of being hurt, their eyes fixed intently on her hand reaching into the raffle box.
Hurt? Why would they look like they were in pain? How odd; it was her drawing lots! Did they really need to look like that?
They were so strange! Could it be that they were afraid she would draw the grand prize? That shouldn't be possible; after all, they were wealthy ladies!
The situation before her was indeed bizarre. However, as her fingertips accidentally brushed against a long, hard object, all those chaotic thoughts in her mind vanished without a trace!
She... she seemed to have touched a car key!
Lin Yaru held her breath and carefully confirmed once again. Immediately, she joyfully grabbed the small object and turned around to shout loudly at a group of guests in front of her.
