We stopped at the Hospital Entrance, and a few minutes later we saw Lu Yi Heng coming out from inside.

“Why didn’t you say this earlier?” I asked him.
He looked out the car window at the Trees and passing vehicles for a long time before replying, “Maybe I still held some hope, and… my mom is still there.”
I had always been suspicious of the relationship between Xiao Family and Xiao Minxing. Hearing him say this made me unable to help but ask, “It seems like you only care about your grandmother.”
He gave a bitter smile, then turned his head away so I couldn’t see his expression and said softly, “She is the only one I have blood ties with.”

Although he explained clearly, I still couldn’t understand. If Xiao Minxing wasn’t the biological son of Old Master Xiao, then the Xiao Family Sisters should know about it. But judging by their demeanor, it seemed like that wasn’t the case at all.
