Although these are just murals, I can still feel the brutality of that war.
I never expected this monster to be sealed here.
I suddenly felt that this stone chamber was filled with a chilling atmosphere.
I must find Uncle as soon as possible and leave this place.
I reached out to touch the tomb wall, looking for a way out.
Suddenly, my toes kicked something.
I looked down and found it was a piece of bronze.
I bent down to pick it up and discovered that this piece of bronze resembled a crescent shape and was quite heavy.
However, I had no idea what its purpose was.
I put it in my jacket pocket and continued searching for an exit.
As I moved forward along the tomb passage, the temperature dropped even lower, and the air seemed to be mixed with icy particles.
Especially that beast's head; I always felt like its eyes were staring at me.
I walked faster and faster, eventually breaking into a light run.
Finally, I reached the end of the tomb passage.
Here, there was a rough stone wall.
Unlike the stone walls I had seen before, the bricks on this one were uneven and had very irregular shapes.
I reached out to touch it; the arrangement of the stones was chaotic, as if a child had been playing with mud.
I frowned, unable to understand the significance of this stone wall.
Could it be a very special anti-theft measure?
If that were the case, then the builders of this ancient tomb really went to great lengths.
I examined it closely, hoping to discern some pattern.
But unfortunately, the unevenness of the bricks was too random, completely lacking any order.
I sighed and prepared to give up.
Just when I thought I had no leads, I suddenly noticed a semi-circular outline.
A flash of inspiration struck me as I recalled the bronze piece I had picked up earlier.
I hurriedly took it out and compared it to the semi-circular outline.
The size fit perfectly.
My heart skipped a beat; it seemed this bronze piece was the key to opening the stone door.
I suppressed my excitement and carefully inserted the bronze piece.
Then, I stepped back a few paces and kicked the stone door with force.
There was a soft click.
The stone door remained unmoved.
I was taken aback and pushed again, but there was still no response.
Could I have guessed wrong?
Not willing to give up, I pushed a few more times, but it still wouldn’t budge.
However, this time, I noticed a hidden compartment revealed at the bottom of the stone door.
I crouched down and took a peek inside.
Inside the compartment lay a dagger, quietly resting.
I took out the dagger and examined it. I couldn't tell what material it was made of, but after such a long time, it still gleamed with a cold light.
As I pulled it out, a loud rumble suddenly came from the stone door.
I was startled and quickly turned to look.
The stone door slowly opened, revealing a crack.
Although I felt scared inside, I told myself that since I had come this far, I couldn't turn back now.
I took a deep breath, gathered my courage, and tremblingly stepped through.
Once I crossed the stone door, I found myself in a large tomb chamber.
As soon as I entered the chamber, I shivered violently.
It was freezing!
The temperature here was at least twenty degrees lower than outside, and I felt as if the blood in my veins had frozen.
I hugged my arms and rubbed them continuously until I felt a little better.
I endured the biting cold and surveyed the tomb chamber.
The tomb chamber is not large, but all around it are massive blocks of ice.
These ice blocks seem to merge with the walls, emitting an eerie blue light.
In the dim blue glow, the entire tomb chamber appears bizarre.
It feels as if I have crossed into another world.
I swallowed hard and cautiously moved forward.
This tomb chamber is extraordinary; it feels as though my blood has been frozen.
On the ground of the chamber lies a thick layer of ice, which has been arranged to form a gigantic Bagua Formation.
In each of the four corners of the chamber, there are four beast heads.
They are the Vermilion Bird, Black Tortoise, White Tiger, and Azure Dragon.
