Ganzhou Entertainment City is the largest bar in the area, without exception. I was wearing Balenciaga, sporting a stainless steel necklace, and had a tattoo sticker on my arm, standing at the edge of the dance floor. My task was to lead the atmosphere team to create a lively environment.
In the center of the dance floor was a VIP Booth measuring 1 meter by 1.8 meters by 1.2 meters. This booth was the most expensive in the venue, with a minimum spending requirement of 10,000. At that moment, a woman in her thirties was sitting on the sofa in the booth. She wore Valentino and carried an LV bag, with a big present set displayed on the table.
She sat alone in the VIP Booth, neither drinking nor talking to anyone, occasionally taking out her phone to snap a few pictures. She seemed completely out of place with the surrounding atmosphere. I couldn't help but feel intrigued. This woman was not ordinary.
Generally speaking, women who come to such places fall into two categories. The first type is after money. They dress beautifully, dance in the crowd to attract men's attention, and once a man bites, they take him to the booth for drinks, earning a commission from his purchases. The second type seeks companionship. They look for handsome guys or strong young men on the dance floor and invite them to join for drinks.
However, this woman in the booth was neither after money nor companionship. Was she waiting for someone? I instinctively felt she must be waiting for someone. After all, how could a wealthy woman possibly come to such a place alone?
Yet, half an hour passed, and she remained alone in the booth. I withdrew my gaze, feeling that I had misjudged her.
It seems she simply wanted to enjoy some time alone. However, I don't understand. She already possesses 99% of the wealth that most people would never earn in a lifetime, so why would she come to a place like this to waste her time?
Initially, my impression of her was that of a Wealthy Woman. Now, she appears to be a Wealthy Woman who has transcended lowbrow tastes. I noticed a detail: the woman took several photos in succession and then frowned at the screen. Clearly, she was not satisfied with the images displayed.
As an undergraduate student majoring in photography, I felt it was my duty to help customers resolve issues with photo quality. So, I sat down next to her and said, "Excuse me, miss, your lighting isn't set up properly."
"Really?" she smiled warmly. "What should I call you?"
"My name is Wei Gang, a junior at the photography studio."
"Photography?"
"Yes, miss. I see you're also into photography; would you like me to adjust your lighting settings?"
She seemed interested. "Sure, take a look for me." With that, she handed me her phone.
I took her phone and snapped a few pictures according to my approach. "Miss, look—doesn't this look much better than before?"
"Yes," she replied, taking back her phone and examining it closely. "How did you think to adjust the lighting for me?"
"Because I've studied photography."
"You've studied photography?"
She was curious: "Then why aren't you staying in the dormitory?"
"To balance work and rest," I replied with a smile.
"Balance work and rest?" She laughed, "Brother, you're working so hard; does your girlfriend know?"
"I don't have a girlfriend yet."
"No girlfriend?" She seemed surprised. "No way, you're so handsome and still single?"
"Really." I said sincerely, "I'm usually quite busy. Besides attending classes, I also manage a photography studio, so I don't have time for dating."
"I see." She nodded, "Brother, come sit down and have a drink with me."
"Okay." I took a seat next to her.
Once seated, I could take a closer look at her.
She had an oval face with big waves in her hair.
Not the trendy influencer look, but her double eyelids were beautifully done, and her nose was exquisitely shaped.
What surprised me even more was her curvy figure, exuding a sense of maturity and elegance.
She appeared to be around 35 years old, with great skin that suggested she had undergone some cosmetic treatments.
However, even so, some signs of age were still noticeable.
