Xu Jing couldn't get through to Zhou Qi's phone. Later, Zhou Qi's phone was unexpectedly turned off. Xu Jing could only send him a text message to inform him that Li Xue's ashes were with her. Zhou Qi replied. Xu Jing arranged to meet him, and Zhou Qi agreed. 0

Xu Jing took Li Xue's ashes and drove to the place where Zhou Qi used to live. Although he no longer lived there, he still had the key, so Xu Jing was able to enter. When Xu Jing arrived, Zhou Qi was already waiting for her at the door. He stood there in black clothes and pants, looking haggard with dark circles under his eyes, clearly having not slept all night. 0

Xu Jing got out of the car and looked at him, "Waiting outside?" Zhou Qi stared at the urn in her hands and nodded, "I was afraid it would fall." 0

Xu Jing remained silent. Zhou Qi looked at her deeply for a moment before turning and walking into the yard. Xu Jing followed him. He stopped under a tree and turned to face her, "Did my dad send you?" 0

"No," Xu Jing shook her head, "I came on my own." 0

Zhou Qi sneered, "You think that by doing this, I will let Zhou Qiang go?" 0

"I never thought that," Xu Jing replied, looking at him. "I just don't want to see you and your dad at odds because of Zhou Qiang." 0

Zhou Qi scoffed, "As if you're doing this for our sake; isn't it really for Zhou Qiang?" 0

"I respect Li Xue," Xu Jing said, looking at him. "She is a woman worthy of respect." 0

Zhou Qi coldly sneered, "You talk better than you sing." 0
"And," Xu Jing continued, "I made a deal with your dad." 0
Zhou Qi was taken aback, narrowing his eyes at her. "What deal?" 0
"I advised him, I advised Zhou Qiang not to go to Yun City, and in return, he would give me Li Xue's ashes back." 0
Zhou Qi stared at her suspiciously, as if trying to read something on her face. 0
Xu Jing remained calm, allowing him to scrutinize her. 0
After a long pause, Zhou Qi said in a deep voice, "Why are you doing this?" 0
"I'm not doing it for Zhou Qiang," Xu Jing replied calmly, "Zhou Qiang doesn't belong in Yun City." 0
Zhou Qi scoffed, "Do you think I would believe that?" 0
Xu Jing met his gaze. "Why would I need you to believe me?" 0
Zhou Qi was momentarily stunned. 0
Xu Jing continued, "Zhou Qiang is a man of faith; he should die for his beliefs, not for trivial gossip." 0
Zhou Qi remained silent. 0
Xu Jing said no more and turned to leave. 0
She didn't wait for Zhou Qi's response. 0
She knew that Zhou Qi would make a choice. 0
... 0
In the early morning, Zhou Wenguang suddenly received a call from Zhou Qi. 0
Zhou Qi got straight to the point and asked, "What would happen if I revealed Zhou Qiang's secret?" 0
Zhou Wenguang was taken aback but quickly replied, "You wouldn't." 0
"What if I did?" Zhou Qi asked. "What would you do if I went through with it?" 0
Zhou Wenguang was silent for a moment before responding softly, "What do you want?" 0
Zhou Qi enunciated each word clearly: "If you dare to publicly acknowledge that Zhou Qiang is your illegitimate son, I'll let him go." 0
Zhou Wenguang had not spoken yet when Zhou Qi hung up the phone. 0

When Zhou Wenguang called back, Zhou Qi's phone was already turned off. 0

On the day of Li Xue's memorial, Xu Jing and Zhou Qiang both went to the Cemetery to pay their respects. 0

To Xu Jing's surprise, Zhou Qi was not there. 0

She quietly asked Zhou Wenguang, "Dad, where is Zhou Qi?" 0

Zhou Wenguang replied softly, "He is too heartbroken and fell ill, so he couldn't come." 0

Xu Jing was speechless. 0

Someone muttered softly, "Too heartbroken? What a lie, I think he feels guilty and doesn't dare to come." 0

No one paid him any attention. 0

Zhou Wenguang stepped forward, took the portrait of Li Xue from the Cemetery staff, placed it on the tombstone, bowed to the portrait, and turned to the crowd saying, "Thank you all for coming to send off Xiao Xue. I hope you will continue to look after the Zhou family in the future. I thank you all here." 0

Everyone responded, "Of course." 0

Zhou Wenguang glanced at the staff, who immediately stepped forward to prepare for Li Xue's ashes to be buried. 0

"Wait!" Zhou Qiang suddenly spoke up. 0

Everyone turned to look at him. 0

Zhou Qiang scanned the crowd and asked solemnly, "Dad, where is Xiao Qi?" 0

Zhou Wenguang replied calmly, "He is ill and couldn't come." 0

Zhou Qiang's expression changed, and he turned to leave. 0
