Zhou Qi glared at Zhou Wenguang, his eyes red, filled with anger and fear. Xu Jing saw fear in Zhou Qi for the first time. It dawned on her what it meant for Zhou Qi that Li Xue's ashes were missing. 0

Zhou Wenguang frowned, "Why did you come back again without permission?" 0

Zhou Qi raised his voice, "Where are Mom's ashes?" 0

Zhou Wenguang said in a deep voice, "Xiao Jing, you should go out first. I need to talk to Zhou Qi." 0

Xu Jing didn't want to leave. She wanted to stay and listen to what Zhou Wenguang and Zhou Qi would say. But under Zhou Wenguang's sharp gaze, she could only walk away. 0

Xu Jing turned and walked out. She could feel Zhou Qi staring at her intensely, as if she were his enemy, wanting to kill her quickly. 0

As Xu Jing exited the study and closed the door, she shut Zhou Qi's hateful gaze inside. Just as she turned around, she suddenly heard Zhou Qi angrily roar, "Dad, I’ll say it again: give me back Mom's ashes!" 0

Xu Jing quickened her pace and hurried downstairs. She feared that if she stayed even a second longer, she would regret it and run back to eavesdrop. 0

In the study, after a long standoff, Zhou Wenguang finally spoke: "I have already arranged for your mother's ashes to be buried in the Cemetery; the burial will take place on the eighth of next month." 0

"I don't want that!" Zhou Qi shouted angrily. "I must bury Mom in the Li Family private grave; you can't stop me!" 0

Zhou Wenguang stared at him: "Xiao Qi, I know you hate me, but your mother's death was truly an accident. If I could choose, I would rather it had been me who died." 0

"You’re talking nonsense!" Zhou Qi yelled. "You're lying to me; you can't fool me. If it was really an accident, why did you hide Mom's ashes? You're feeling guilty; you're afraid that if I bury Mom, everyone will talk behind your back, right?" 0

Zhou Wenguang stared at him for a long time and sighed, "Your mother passed away, and I feel very sad too. I also feel guilty, so I don't want you to bury her in the Li Family private cemetery; otherwise, I won't be able to explain it to the Li Family." 0

"I don't care!" Zhou Qi shouted angrily. "Mom loved the Li Family old house the most. I couldn't bring her back while she was alive, so I must bury her back in the Li Family after her death!" 0

"You wish!" Zhou Wenguang was also furious. "I told you, I won't let you bury your mother in the Li Family private cemetery. You might as well give up on that idea!" 0

"You—" Zhou Qi trembled with anger. "Fine, if you won't let me bury Mom in the Li Family, then I'll take her ashes to the Li Family old house to mourn. I will stay there for a hundred days, and I want everyone to know that my mother died because of your Zhou family!" 0

"You dare!" Zhou Wenguang exploded with rage. "If you dare go to the Li Family, I'll have you arrested and you'll spend your life in prison!" 0

Zhou Qi sneered, "Then go ahead and try!" 0

Zhou Wenguang fixed his gaze on him for a long time before saying in a deep voice, " Qiang is about to be transferred; he will go to Yun City and may work on the front lines." 0

Zhou Qi was taken aback and then laughed loudly, "Good, great! Let him go! Let him go!" 0

As he laughed, his eyes suddenly turned red and tears fell down. 0

Zhou Qi wiped his tears and turned to walk out. 0

... 0

Xu Jing had just stepped out of the door when she suddenly stopped again. 0

She felt she should do something. 0

If she didn't do anything, the conflict between Zhou Wenguang and Zhou Qi would only deepen, and it might even lead to a tragedy. 0

She didn't want to see such a situation. 0

Xu Jing took out her phone, wanting to call Zhou Qi, but after thinking it over, she gave up. 0

She felt it would be better to talk to Zhou Qi face-to-face. 0

Xu Jing turned around and walked back. 0

She returned to outside the study, did not knock on the door, and directly pushed it open. 0

"Dad," Xu Jing looked at Zhou Wenguang, "You should return Mom's ashes to Zhou Qi." 0
