Zhou Qi stopped and turned to look at me.
"Xu Jing, you don't care about Zhou Qiang at all."
"I do care." I gazed quietly at Zhou Qi. "For him, I would do anything."
"Does that include sleeping with me?"
"Yes."
"Then why let me be exposed?" Zhou Qi sneered. "Xu Jing, you're contradicting yourself."
"It's not a contradiction." I stared into his eyes. "It's to protect Zhou Qiang's reputation."
"What do you mean?"
"Xiao Qi, if Zhou Qiang's homosexuality is exposed, he will be abandoned by the entire Zhou family and might even lose his position as the head of the Provincial Department." I paused. "So, if someone has to be disgraced, I hope that person is me."
Zhou Qi narrowed his eyes.
"What I mean is, you can spread rumors about Zhou Qiang and me, let everyone know that I, Xu Jing, am a shameless woman who married Zhou Qiang and then got involved with his brother."
"Xu Jing!" Zhou Qi was furious. "Are you out of your mind?"
"I'm very clear-headed," I replied calmly. "Xiao Qi, I know what you're thinking."
"You don't know anything!"
"I know you don't want Zhou Qiang to have a good life; you want to ruin him and even destroy the entire Zhou family." I smiled. "But you haven't thought about how to deal with me."
"Xu Jing, what do you want to do?"
"I said, if someone has to be disgraced, I hope that person is me."
Zhou Qi fell silent.
I smiled softly and said, "Xiao Qi, I hope you leave Zhou Qiang alone."
"Why should I?"
"Because I love you this much."
"You..." Zhou Qi stared at me, his eyes gradually reddening. "Who do you think you are? What right do you have to lecture me?"
“Xiao Qi, I'm not educating you.”
“Get lost!” Zhou Qi pointed at my nose, “Get out!”
I didn't leave.
I slowly approached him and gently kissed the corner of his lips.
Zhou Qi immediately pushed me away.
I kissed him again.
He pushed me away once more.
I lost count of how many times I tried, each time ruthlessly rejected by Zhou Qi.
But I wouldn't give up.
I held onto him, refusing to let go no matter how much he struggled.
When I kissed him again, Zhou Qi didn't push me away this time.
I kissed his neck, softly and cautiously.
Zhou Qi's body trembled, and his breathing quickened.
My hands roamed over him, but he grabbed my wrist tightly.
“Xu Jing, you’re really despicable!”
“Yes,” I admitted, “Xiao Qi, as long as you're happy, I'll do anything.”
“Anything?”
“Yes.”
“Then go die!”
“Okay.”
“You…” Zhou Qi stared at me, his eyes growing redder, “Why are you like this? Why are you so despicable?”
“I don't know either,” I smiled lightly, “Maybe… because I really like you.”
Zhou Qi cried.
He didn't push me away again; instead, he allowed me to unbutton his shirt.
He grabbed my hand and asked fiercely, "Xu Jing, don't you think you're being cheap?"
"Yes."
"Then why are you still being cheap?"
"Because I want to." I leaned closer to his ear and whispered, "Xiao Qi, I would do anything for you."
"You..."
Zhou Qi's words were not finished when I had already ripped open his shirt buttons.
His hand held mine tightly, not allowing me to move.
I couldn't break free and started to panic.
"Zhou Qi, do you want to sleep with me or not?"
"Why would I sleep with you?"
"Because you like me."
"I like you?" Zhou Qi laughed, a sarcastic smile on his face. "Xu Jing, where does your confidence come from?"
"You do like me." I stared at him. "If you didn't like me, you wouldn't have slept with me three times that night."
"Xu Jing!" Zhou Qi shouted at me, "Can you just stop talking?"
"Can you stop wasting time?" I was getting anxious too. "Do you want to sleep with me or not?"
Zhou Qi remained silent.
I took a deep breath and started to unbuckle his belt.
Zhou Qi grabbed my hand forcefully.
"Xu Jing, don't push me."
"I'm pushing you, so what?"
Zhou Qi said nothing, just looked at me quietly.
I looked into his eyes and said word by word, "Zhou Qi, I'm going to push you. Not only that, I want you to remember me for the rest of your life."
Zhou Qi, I want you to never forget me.
