"Zhou Qi, don't go too far!" I gritted my teeth. "Zhou Qiang likes women; he is not..."
"Not what?" Zhou Qi sneered. "Xu Jing, it's common knowledge that Zhou Qiang has been living with Huang Hongwei for three years. You can't possibly not know that."
Of course, I knew.
But what could I do?
The man I married is Zhou Qiang.

"Zhou Qi, are you crazy?" I instinctively reached to grab Zhou Qi's neck but was restrained by him.
"Xu Jing, do you think I'll give you a chance to bully me again?" Zhou Qi said sharply. "Xu Jing, if you provoke me, don’t expect to have it easy!"
"Zhou Qi, let Zhou Qiang go." I softened my tone. "The Zhou family owes you; I'll repay it."
"You?" Zhou Qi scoffed. "Xu Jing, what are you? You're just Zhou Qiang's dog."
"Zhou Qi, I'm begging you." I lowered my voice. "Zhou Qiang is innocent; if you have something against him, come at me."
"Xu Jing, are you really in love with Zhou Qiang?" Zhou Qi laughed. "Too bad, though; Zhou Qiang likes men, not you."
"Zhou Qi, what do you want?"
"I want what I deserve," Zhou Qi said calmly. "Xu Jing, since you chose Zhou Qiang back then, you should have known it would lead to this outcome."
"Zhou Qi, I know you hate the Zhou family, but what you're doing is no different from them," I took a deep breath. "Whatever it is, we can resolve it behind closed doors. There's no need to drag others into this."
"What are you trying to say, Xu Jing?"
"Zhou Qi, I know you hate Uncle Zhou, but Aunt Li's death has nothing to do with Zhou Qiang," I said slowly. "If you want revenge, go after Uncle Zhou; don't involve others."
"Others?" Zhou Qi sneered. "Xu Jing, do you still not understand? Zhou Qiang has been living with Huang Hongwei for three years; he is not a normal person at all!"
"Zhou Qi, if you insist on saying that, there's nothing I can do." I said lightly, "If you want to take revenge on Zhou Qiang, you can do it openly; there's no need to resort to such despicable means."
"Despicable?" Zhou Qi smirked, "Xu Jing, I will stop at nothing to bring down the Zhou family."
"Zhou Qi, all you're doing is hurting Aunt Li."
"Don't mention my mother!" Zhou Qi's expression suddenly darkened, "Xu Jing, what right do you have to talk about my mother?"
"Zhou Qi, I'm just trying to tell you that your ruthless methods will only embarrass Aunt Li." I said calmly, "What the Zhou family owes you, you should take back. But you shouldn't go about it this way."
"I can only consider it revenge when Zhou Wenguang sees his family crumble bit by bit," Zhou Qi sneered, "Xu Jing, are you asking me to let Zhou Qiang go? Why should I let him off?"
"Zhou Qi, debts should be settled with the right people."
"Xu Jing, don't be naive." Zhou Qi scoffed, "What Zhou Wenguang owes me, I will take back piece by piece."
I sighed, knowing that further persuasion would be futile.
