"How persistent!" Yan Jien scoffed inwardly.
He led Yan Weila down the street at a leisurely pace.
Soon, he noticed the group of young men he had encountered earlier at the internet café were following them closely but not too closely.
"Since you want to seek death, I will grant your wish..." A glint of cold light flashed in Yan Jien's eyes.
He looked around and quickly found a suitable place for a fight.
It was a scenic leisure area, filled with lush trees, blooming flowers, and a rockery fountain.
However, it was already one o'clock in the morning, and the leisure area was dark and deserted.
Yan Jien led Yan Weila into the leisure area and approached a pavilion.
"Stand behind me..." Yan Jien whispered.
"Are they... bad people?" Yan Weila asked nervously.
"Yes..." Yan Jien nodded.
"Then... be careful..." Yan Weila said with concern.
"It's fine..." Yan Jien shook his head.
At that moment, the group of young men quickly approached and surrounded the pavilion.
"You really know how to pick a place..." the skinny man sneered.
"Yeah, it's beautiful here, fresh air—perfect as your burial ground..." Yan Jien replied with a smile.
"Still so arrogant when death is imminent; brothers, teach him a lesson!" the skinny man shouted angrily.
"Yes..."
The young men pulled out weapons from their waists—steel pipes, baseball bats, and daggers.
"Kill..." shouted a crew-cut guy as he charged forward with a steel pipe raised high.
Yan Jien let out a cold laugh, grabbed the man's wrist, and yanked him forward.
With a crack, the crew-cut man's arm dislocated, causing him to scream in pain.
Yan Jien snatched the steel pipe away and tossed it aside carelessly.
Clang! The pipe landed at the feet of the skinny man, making him jump back in fright.
"Who else wants to try?" Yan Jien scanned the crowd.
The young men exchanged glances, none daring to step forward.
"Damn it, all of you attack together! Kill him!" the skinny man shouted in frustration.
The young men looked at each other and charged at once.
Yan Jien stood still, unmoving.
It wasn't until the first young man reached him that he finally reacted.
He suddenly reached out his right hand, grabbing the opponent's collar and forcefully throwing him aside. The young man was instantly sent flying five or six meters away, crashing to the ground and unable to get up.
Immediately after, Yan Jien kicked out again. The second young man was sent flying, landing seven or eight meters away. Then, with a punch, Yan Jien struck the third young man, sending him flying over ten meters away. In just a few seconds, all six young men were knocked down to the ground, none able to stand.
"You... don't come over here..." the skinny man said, terrified. Yan Jien looked at him, a slight smile curling at the corners of his mouth. He deliberately left the skinny man for last because he wanted to have some fun with him.
"Weren't you going to teach me a lesson? Why aren't you making a move?" Yan Jien mocked.
"I... I was wrong..." the skinny man trembled.
"Now you realize your mistake? It's too late..." Yan Jien snorted coldly. He stepped forward and slapped the skinny man across the face. With a loud smack, the skinny man was sent flying, landing five or six meters away.
"Ah..." the skinny man let out a piercing scream.
"Shut up!" Yan Jien shouted. The skinny man immediately fell silent; despite the pain causing tears to stream down his face, he gritted his teeth and dared not make a sound.
"Call Yang Xiongbo to come over..." Yan Jien ordered.
"Ah..." the skinny man was stunned.
"Do I need to say it again?" Yan Jien said coldly.
"Yes, yes..." The skinny man trembled in fear and quickly took out his phone to dial Yang Xiongbo's number.
"Put it on speaker..." Yan Jien commanded again. The skinny man obediently complied.
"Hello, how's it going?" Yang Xiongbo's voice came through.
"Bo... Bo Ge..." the skinny man didn't know how to respond.
"Hurry up and tell me, how's it going?" Yang Xiongbo urged.
"Bo Ge, we... we got beaten by that guy..." the skinny man said timidly.
"What? You seven can't handle one person? What are you all doing?" Yang Xiongbo exploded in anger.
"Bo Ge, that guy is a martial artist; we're no match for him at all..." the skinny man complained.
"Damn it, what a bunch of useless trash..." Yang Xiongbo cursed angrily.
"Bo Ge, then... what should we do now?" the skinny man asked.
"Where are you? I'll be there soon..." Yang Xiongbo said angrily.
"We're at..." the thin man looked at Yan Jien, unsure how to respond.
"Right across from Amy Community in the scenic leisure area..." Yan Jien said.
"Oh, we're... in the scenic leisure area across from Amy Community..." the thin man relayed honestly.
"Wait there, I'll be right over..." Yang Xiongbo said.
"Yes..." the thin man replied.
After hanging up, the thin man looked at Yan Jien and nervously asked, "B-Brother, are you... satisfied?"
"Just so-so..." Yan Jien answered casually.
"Then... can you let me go?" the thin man asked cautiously.
"Not yet..." Yan Jien shook his head.
"B-Brother, do you have any other instructions?" the thin man asked anxiously.
"Just stay here for now..." Yan Jien said.
"Yes..." the thin man had no choice but to remain where he was.
After a while, two figures walked in.
The one in front was none other than Yang Xiongbo.
Following him was Yang Chen.
"Oh, what a coincidence..." Yang Xiongbo feigned surprise upon seeing Yan Jien.
"Yang Xiongbo, did you really think I wouldn't know it was you pulling strings behind my back?" Yan Jien sneered.
"You... what are you talking about? I don't understand," Yang Xiongbo said, startled.
"Still playing dumb with me?" Yan Jien glared at him.
"I... I really don't know what you're talking about..." Yang Xiongbo's eyes flickered nervously.
"Stop wasting time; it's time to pay with your life..." Yan Jien shouted and charged at Yang Xiongbo.
"You... you dare..." Yang Xiongbo's face turned pale with fear.
With a loud bang, he was sent flying out of the way.
