"General Manager of Fortune Clothing, Chen Can! I wonder if Director Jiang knows this person?"
"Chen Can? Yes, I know him. Isn't he your daughter's classmate and also a classmate of my teacher? Why is he opposing me?" Jiang Chen originally intended to let him off the hook, but seeing that Chen Can was constantly at odds with him, he decided not to be polite anymore.

Jiang Chen suddenly thought that Wang Zuofu should be allied with Chen Can and might know more about the situation.
"President Wang, do you know what else Chen Can has done against me and Dongsheng Group?" Jiang Chen decided to probe a little.
Upon hearing this, Wang Zuofu hesitated slightly before shaking his head and saying, "I don't know. Why would he tell me about other matters?"
But that slight hesitation from Wang Zuofu had already betrayed his inner thoughts, which Jiang Chen could see clearly.
"President Wang, we are in a cooperative relationship now, and this cooperation is based on your company seeking help from ours. If you still want to conceal something for Chen Can, then our future cooperation won't be reliable."
The implied threat in Jiang Chen's words was clearly understood by Wang Zuofu. What should he do? Weighing the benefits, the only option was to betray Chen Can since he was indeed acting unscrupulously.
"Director Jiang, thinking it over carefully, I do recall two things he mentioned. One is that he said he wanted to distribute flyers to undermine the credibility of the Dongsheng Brand clothing. The second is that he mentioned having an uncle in a fabric factory who handles sales and could sabotage you from the raw material side. These are just things I heard him mention; I don't know if they were actually carried out."
"President Wang, regarding the flyers, there have been reports in the business newspaper; how could I not know? As for the fabric factory matter, if you say you don't know, I can't insist that you do."
After Jiang Chen pointed this out, Wang Zuofu immediately felt embarrassed. "Oh, I did see it in the business newspaper; I almost forgot about it until you mentioned it."
"Is President Wang's memory affected by drinking too much? Let's drink less and eat more vegetables!"
Wang Zuofu quickly nodded, "Sure, let's eat vegetables!"
Jiang Chen chose not to hold it against him. After all, he was Teacher Gong's future father-in-law; it wouldn't be appropriate to make things too difficult for him. They let this matter pass.
What about Chen Can? It couldn't just end like this; he needed to be taught a lesson. Jiang Chen thought for a moment and came up with an idea.
"President Wang, wasn't your company primarily focused on selling Fortune brand clothing before? Could you stop selling it now?"
"This... wouldn't that significantly reduce our business?" Wang Zuofu showed a troubled expression.
"Don't worry; we can supply you with clothing from Dongsheng Company! This way, your company's sales volume will remain unchanged," Jiang Chen reassured him.
Hearing this, Wang Zuofu could only agree. "Alright, I'll follow your arrangement. Starting now, we will stop sourcing clothing from Fortune Company!"
"That's not enough; we need to ask several other companies to stop sourcing clothing from Fortune Company as well!"

With Jiang Chen's words, Wang Zuofu had no choice but to agree.
The next day at Fortune Clothing, Chen Can was furrowing his brow. The sales department had just reported that several clothing trading companies in Nangang City had stopped taking their goods. He sensed trouble brewing! It was clear that Jiang Chen was starting his counterattack.
"President Wang, why have they stopped taking our Fortune brand clothing?" Although he suspected Jiang Chen was behind this, Chen Can still called Wang Zuofu first to see what he would say.
"Mr. Chen, I’m at a loss too! Our company needs to sell clothing to Minan Province Shihu City, and we must go through Dongsheng Group! Yesterday when I discussed cooperation with Dongsheng Group, their chairman Jiang Chen insisted on stopping your goods!" Wang Zuofu then explained some of the background over the phone.
Of course, Wang Zuofu wouldn't tell him about betraying Chen Can; he only mentioned that it was something Jiang Chen knew about. However, Chen Can understood that Wang Zuofu must have sold him out; otherwise, how would Jiang Chen be willing to cooperate with Wang Zuofu? Chen Can was unaware of Jiang Chen's gratitude towards Teacher Gong.
After hanging up, Chen Can called Gao Tianqi over. "Uncle Gao, now that Jiang Chen has instructed all the clothing trading companies in Nangang City to stop taking our brand's clothing, what do you think we should do?"
"Ah? Director Jiang didn't hold a grudge about your flyers last time; why is it like this now?"
"I don't know, which is why I'm consulting you on what to do," Chen Can said anxiously.
"Should I call Director Jiang?" Gao Tianqi suggested, unsure of how to proceed.
"Sure!" Chen Can hoped for that; he didn't want to call Jiang Chen directly and risk being rebuffed.
Gao Tianqi dialed Jiang Chen's number.
"Director Jiang, Tianfa Trade Service Company in Nangang has stopped taking our goods; I heard it's your decision?"
"Yes," Jiang Chen replied succinctly.
"Why is that? I remember last time you agreed to forgive Mr. Chen for the misunderstandings." Gao Tianqi was puzzled.
Jiang Chen chuckled lightly, "Mr. Gao, you know the reason well enough; just ask Mr. Chen if you're curious. I don't want to explain everything over the phone."
With that, Jiang Chen hung up.
Gao Tianqi gave a bitter smile and said to Chen Can, "Mr. Chen, he said you know the reason!"
Chen Can nodded, "Yes, Uncle Gao, I understand the reason. But discussing it now is pointless. What we need is a solution to the current problem!"
"Then let's invite Director Jiang for a discussion! I'll call him again and ask him out for a meal to see what his attitude is."
"Alright!" Chen Can agreed; it seemed they would have to talk face-to-face to resolve the issue.
That evening, the three of them met again in a private room at the Chamber of Commerce Hotel and sat together. Jiang Chen remained calm as ever.
Chen Can and Gao Tianqi both felt anxious but wore smiles on their faces, trying to ease the atmosphere in hopes of getting Jiang Chen to relent.
"Director Jiang, regarding the matter of stopping the supply of goods to our company, could you give us a chance to correct our mistakes?" After some polite conversation, it was ultimately Gao Tianqi who brought up the main topic.
