Halloween is a time when all sorts of people gather, making it the perfect opportunity for a crime.
Following the instructions in the text message, I arrived at the abandoned church on the mountaintop. The night breeze was quiet, and the shadow of the abandoned church loomed over me, making it hard to breathe.
"Professor Yang? Where are you?"

I braced myself against the piano and kicked Yang Yi in the face.
"Get lost! Shiwen would never say something like that!"
Yang Yi rubbed his cheek and looked at me intently:
"You and she are quite alike."
He opened his gaping mouth wide in front of me, with a broken cross behind him.
At the critical moment, Yang Yi was knocked to the ground by several werewolves that charged out of the darkness. The Wolf King walked out from the corner with an imposing presence.
"Enough! Yang Yi, you have disappointed me greatly!"
Yang Yi spat out the blood in his mouth and allowed himself to be shackled. He muttered, "It doesn't matter; I've always disappointed you..."
Just as Yang Yi was about to be taken away, I interrupted, "Wait!"
At that moment, the church doors opened with a creak. As the mist cleared, Shen Ci approached, pulling a cage. Inside the cage was a frenzied werewolf with red eyes—Yang Ning.
