I threw the last crow into the iron cage. The outcome was clear. Qi Zhi clenched his teeth tighter. With a wave of his hand, he said, "Alright, this time consider yourselves lucky." He turned to leave.
"Wait."
"Did Young Master Qi forget something?"
Qi Zhi pressed his tongue against the right side of his cheek. "Fine, speak up. What do you want?"
Shen Ci stroked his chin and pushed me forward. "You say it; after all, the last crow was caught by a human you, Young Master Qi, look down upon."
I was taken aback. "???"
Qi Zhi grew angrier and indiscriminately swatted at the sycophant beside him. "Anything is fine?" I blinked at Shen Ci. "You said there’s nothing I, Qi Zhi, can’t accomplish!"
After receiving a confirming glance from Shen Ci, I mustered my courage. "Then you wolves can give me a tuft of wolf fur!"
Shen Ci was stunned, and the other wolves were equally taken aback. The air fell silent. I noticed Qi Zhi's increasingly dark expression and felt a sense of foreboding.
"Puhahahahaha!" Ji Chen laughed so hard he bent over, unable to stand up, and gave me a thumbs-up with his paw. "Alright, you're impressive!"
I was confused and sought help from the Pack Leader Wolf. The Pack Leader Wolf discreetly explained: "In the Wolf Clan, giving wolf fur to someone means that the lower-ranked individual submits to the higher-ranked one..."
Oh no, I didn’t mean it that way! I just thought it was a rare opportunity to see if the culprit was among this group of wolves. Just as I was struggling to find a way to explain myself, a tuft of wolf fur landed in front of me. Qi Zhi had bowed his head, and the other wolves followed suit.
Before leaving, Qi Zhi still had a fierce expression on his face.
"This time, consider yourselves lucky!

I picked up the wolf fur from the ground, feeling as if I had found treasure.

Unintentionally, I helped Shen Ci save some face, and a few members of the Werewolf Group looked at me with increased admiration.

A cold breath of air greeted me. I didn't expect the seemingly serious Professor Yang Yi to have such a childlike side. The atmosphere gradually softened without anyone noticing. This is the best animal research center, and Yang Yi had just seen me holding wolf fur, making it hard to avoid him now. I might as well use him and test whether he is trustworthy.

Yang Yi had just steadied the skeleton above my head when there was a knock at the door. Before Yang Yi could respond, Shen Ci walked in and saw me being held by Yang Yi.
