The clear weather of reality had long since vanished. The sun was completely obscured by the dark clouds gathering over Shennongjia, lightning split the sky, and a chilling wind swept through. This gloomy atmosphere lingered for a while, yet not a single drop of rain fell. Instead, the increasingly thunderous roars of thunder shook everyone’s eardrums, each clash between thunder and earth resonating like a drumbeat against their hearts, causing a sense of unease. 0

The oppressive atmosphere thickened, and gradually, strange sounds echoed through the air—cackles, long sighs, whispers, and cries of sorrow. These eerie noises intertwined, reverberating throughout the ancient forest that had been surrounded by mountains since time immemorial. Such extraordinary occurrences seemed to signal to everyone, reminding them that something was about to arrive… 0

In the woods outside the clearing, the once faint bird songs had completely ceased. Regardless of the venomous insects or fierce beasts, at that moment, they all felt an overwhelming pressure on their very existence and a tremor deep within their souls. They began to flee in a frenzy from this place, escaping from the home they had inhabited for generations. They understood that something terrifying was about to take over their territory… 0

At this moment, all modern communication signals within a hundred miles of Shennongjia had failed. Ordinary people who ventured too close would become disoriented and dizzy. Fortunately, this was Shennongjia, a remote and rarely visited primeval forest… In the dimly lit woods, shadows seemed to flicker; those shadows were oddly shaped and appeared intermittently throughout the mountains and forests surrounding the clearing. As they drew nearer, the cacophony of sounds became increasingly distinct… 0

“All of these are Specters… How many have been drawn here?” 0

Some could not contain their shock and murmured softly. 0

“When Embalming's Gate first formed, the Boundary Induction waves should have resonated throughout all of China! However, depending on the strength of the Boundary Induction waves, the number of Specters attracted can vary. Some weaker Embalming Coffin Realms can only draw out a few Lonely Souls—those weak spirits that wouldn’t even attract a glance from powerful Specters. This is well-known among Embalmers. But strong Boundary Induction waves can catch the attention of sovereigns among Specters! The Lonely Souls in these woods aren’t particularly strong; just wait—some Evil Souls will soon be unable to sit still! Just feel the sky around you…” 0

Among the crowd, an elderly man spoke slowly. 0

As his words fell, as if in response to him, the already dark sky deepened further. Finally, with a thunderous roar reminiscent of mountains collapsing and earth shattering, a colossal beast suddenly appeared above the clearing. Unlike the Lonely Souls in the forest, this beast had no wings yet could fly freely through the air without being bound by land. Its ethereal form gradually solidified; if not for the fact that everyone present was powerful Embalmers capable of sensing the soul waves emanating from it, one might truly believe it was an ancient giant beast hidden until now rather than a long-dead Specter! 0
