The light in the cave brightened, revealing that it was already morning outside. They had passed the night peacefully, without any Demon Beasts disturbing them. A man and a woman were nestled together, quietly enjoying a moment that felt quite beautiful.
"Ah, I actually fell asleep. How terrible," Chu Yanran said as her eyelashes fluttered, slowly opening her eyes. She appeared somewhat dazed and took a while to realize her surroundings. However, seeing that nothing was amiss, she quietly sighed in relief.
"Then let's sleep a little longer!" She looked at Ren Pingsheng, who still had his eyes closed, with a gentle smile on her face before leaning against him. For some reason, resting against him made her feel very secure, like a ship returning to harbor, no longer needing to worry about the onslaught of storms.
Ren Pingsheng, who had intended to end his meditation, stiffened for a moment, feeling somewhat helpless about the situation. He didn't know whether to open his eyes or continue pretending to be unconscious. Although he was quite powerful, he was still clueless about matters between men and women.

"Oh, thank you very much," Ren Pingsheng said as he sat up with a smile. After recovering through the night, his injuries had improved somewhat; however, it would likely take several more days for him to fully heal.
"By the way, Ren Brother, you must be hungry. I'll go get you something to eat," Chu Yanran suddenly remembered something and quickly got up, hurriedly exiting the cave in search of food.
"Ah, I hope my earlier behavior wasn't seen; that would be so embarrassing." Once outside the cave, she muttered in embarrassment, her face adorably flushed. However, after a moment she shook off that feeling and quickly returned with some game she had caught. She hadn't forgotten that there was still an injured person here!
"Let me do the grilling!" Ren Pingsheng looked at the sweating Chu Yanran, who had just burned another piece of meat to a crisp, and spoke half-heartedly, half out of kindness.
"You’re injured and need to rest. I can handle this. Just wait a bit longer." She seemed determined to prove herself, as if she were in a contest with the pile of meat, insisting on grilling something that was both edible and visually appealing.
Seeing her once again dejectedly toss aside the charred meat in her hand, only to stubbornly pull out another piece, Ren Pingsheng felt speechless towards the young girl. In the end, despite her reluctance, he took over. Mainly because he was hungry too.

Ren Pingsheng smiled lightly, his expression somewhat dazed. He suddenly recalled how he had honed his grilling skills and wondered how that little white fox was doing now. Where was she? He remembered how she would always cling to him for grilled meat every time he visited. It amused him to see her getting all messy while eating; it was both funny and frustrating but also deeply satisfying.
"Are you alright?" He asked, feeling a bit melancholic as he took a bite of grilled meat. The aroma was still rich, but he found himself eating without much taste.
"Ren Brother, are you okay?" Chu Yanran looked up just in time to catch Ren Pingsheng's expression and asked with concern.
"I'm fine; just reminiscing about some things. Hurry up and eat; we’ll leave here soon." He gently shook his head. Some memories might just have to stay in his heart; although he didn’t know where she had gone, he hoped she was doing well. He just wondered how she managed without grilled meat!
The two remained silent as they finished their food. After resting for a while, they packed up their belongings and prepared to leave the cave. Staying in one place for too long wasn’t good; it was best to leave Nanyun Forest.
Ren Pingsheng had recovered some strength; traveling wasn’t an issue now, though his pace was considerably slower. Once they exited the cave, they headed toward the back exit of Nanyun Forest.
The entrance to Nang Yun Sen was less than twenty miles from Nanyun City. That day, a group of people left Nanyun City and arrived at the entrance of Nanyun Forest. They stood together, hesitating for some reason and did not immediately enter Nanyun Forest. Other adventurers had already paired up and ventured inside in search of opportunities.

Chu Yanran was worried about Ren Pingsheng's injuries and immediately came forward to help, blocking three of them. This left only Wu Yang relentlessly pursuing Ren Pingsheng.
However, facing two Perfect Realm Warriors and a High-Level Warrior, she found it somewhat challenging. Ultimately, Lin Lun, the High-Level Warrior, managed to escape, and immediately Wu Yang and Lin Lun began to besiege Ren Pingsheng. "Be careful!" he called out softly and then swept his sword horizontally to fend off the attacks from the two. His figure flashed as he reached Chu Yanran's side just in time to block one person; however, the other changed their Sword Momentum and struck him in the chest with a single blow.
"Poof..." Already injured, Ren Pingsheng was hit by the full-force attack from the Perfect Realm Warrior and instantly sustained new injuries on top of his old ones.
