Although he shattered Golden Slaughter, the endless sharpness still invaded his arm through the great sword, causing pain that made his hand tremble uncontrollably. It took him a while to expel all that sharp energy.
"Sword Momentum, Golden Realm—truly astonishing. Tell me your name," Xue Chao said earnestly, with hints of joy and battle intent in his voice. If he had looked down on Ren Pingsheng before, now he regarded him as an equal opponent.
"Ren Pingsheng. I think there's no need for us to continue battling," Ren Pingsheng replied, surprised by the other's strength. He knew that Xue Chao had not shown all of his power either; just now, he had merely caught him off guard and gained a small advantage.
"Haha, indeed. Your strength is enough to reach the Bronze Ranking; naturally, you can possess a Jade Tablet. I truly hope we can cross swords again during the Hundred Man Battle," he said as he sheathed his great sword and laughed heartily while turning to leave.
