"Uh..." After an unknown amount of time, Ren Pingsheng couldn't help but groan. The pain in his body continuously stimulated his nerves.
"Where is this place?" Rubbing his head, he looked around in confusion. Suddenly remembering something, he touched the Refined Iron Sword beside him, and his expression became alert.
He clearly remembered being chased by the Black Fiend Tiger, fleeing for his life. He had even been hit by the Black Fiend Tiger's malevolent attack before managing to escape. Eerie Aura belonged to extreme yin energy; once it entered a person's body, it acted like a parasite that continuously absorbed Spiritual Energy from within to grow stronger. Ultimately, it would erode a person's mind and turn them into a monster driven solely by slaughter.
Thus, this kind of energy was difficult to expel using ordinary methods. Only flames or lightning—things of extreme yang—could counteract it. This was also why Ren Pingsheng came to Lava Valley.
After all, this Black Fiend Tiger was just a high-level Fierce Beast; its Eerie Aura wasn't very dense yet. So as long as he could harness the violent Spiritual Energy infused with fiery essence here, he could gradually expel it from his body. If it were pure Eerie Aura, one might be eroded in no time at all and lose their sanity before dying in madness.
So Ren Pingsheng endured the external heat while guiding the violent Spiritual Energy and Eerie Aura in constant conflict within his body. In such a powerful environment, Ren Pingsheng had an advantage; however, this Eerie Aura was also stubborn and seemed not easy to expel quickly.

Outside Lava Valley, Ren Pingsheng sat by a fire roasting meat from an unknown Fierce Beast. For several days he had been eating tasteless dry rations, and his mouth was parched. The first thing he wanted to do after coming out was to enjoy a hearty meal.
