I no longer want to be passively beaten.
I decided to take action against Meng Xue.
I seized various opportunities to gather information and finally obtained some scattered details from a few old servants.

I smiled and nodded, then replied, "You're right."
After saying that, she turned and left my room.
I watched her retreating figure, a hint of confusion rising in my heart.
What was her purpose for coming to see me this time?
Did she discover the pinhole camera I had hidden in the room?
Or did she find out that I was investigating her?
Or perhaps she simply came to visit me?
I lay on the bed, tossing and turning, unable to sleep.
In my mind, I kept replaying Meng Xue's reaction.
Her response made me even more certain that there was some unspeakable secret hidden behind her.
