Chapter 115: Waiting for the Invaders
"I have no one in the Shadow Kill Camp, so why have you suffered losses at my hands twice in a row? I am merely outstanding in military command and do not represent the entire camp," Li Qi replied.

The officer appeared at the entrance of the tent and said to Li Qi, "The lady has called for you to enter."
"Thank you," Li Qi replied politely before stepping inside. A woman dressed in a white robe with a white mask and wearing the Celestial Maiden emblem on her chest sat in the main seat before Li Qi.
"I pay my respects to you, my lord," Li Qi said with a slight bow.
"Mm." The White-Clad Woman nodded and said to the officer beside her, "You may leave now."
"Yes, my lord."
"You come to my army's camp, what is the matter?" the White-Clad Woman asked.
"I have a message for your Leader," Li Qi said.
"Speak," the White-Clad Woman said calmly.
"Two of your Demon Lords are in my hands. If you want to retrieve Celestial Spirit and Tianxin, send your Saintess to negotiate with me in five days. If you dare to launch a surprise attack on my army's camp within these five days, I won't hesitate to show you a beautiful head. I will present it to you with both hands!" Li Qi stated word for word.
"Hmph! Such arrogance from a young man. I will relay this to the Saintess. In battle, we do not harm envoys; you may leave," the White-Clad Woman said, slightly angered.
"Then I shall take my leave," Li Qi replied.
"Remember, treat my two nieces well in these days. If they lose even a hair, I will hold you accountable," the White-Clad Woman threatened.
"Rest assured, my lady. The two young ladies have not suffered any punishment in my army, and our Leader treats them as honored guests. Your concerns will definitely not arise," Li Qi said respectfully.
"That is good. In five days, my Saintess will come to collect them; make sure your Leader is prepared," the White-Clad Woman said.
"I await your arrival. The message has been delivered; farewell," Li Qi said as he took his leave. The White-Clad Woman nodded, indicating that Li Qi could go, and then he exited.
"Come here," the White-Clad Woman commanded.
"My lady," the previous Thousand Household approached respectfully.
"I need to return and rest for about three days. You all must remain vigilant to prevent a surprise attack from the enemy," the White-Clad Woman instructed.
“Tian Yue, if you are not here, the enemy will have two Demon Lords attacking our forces at the same time. No matter how much we prepare, it will be useless,” the Thousand Household Leader said anxiously.
“This is unavoidable; I must return and report on the current situation of the battle,” Tian Yue replied.
“Why don’t I go in your place, my lord?”
“No! This matter concerns my sacred land and cannot be interfered with by outsiders!” Tian Yue said firmly.
“Yes, my lord,” the Thousand Household Leader accepted this reality helplessly.
“If something really happens, your troops can retreat at will. If there are any repercussions from above, I will take responsibility for you,” Tian Yue said compassionately.

“Alright, you all continue,” Li Qi instructed and then rode back to the camp.
“Yes, General.”
“What a magnificent horse! It’s much more handsome than our Unicorns.”
“Of course! One is a sixth-tier Beast and the other is a fourth-tier Beast; how can they be compared?” The soldiers looked at Li Qi's mount with envy and spoke longingly.
Nightmares are a type of mount-like magical beast, entirely black as ink, similar in size and appearance to ordinary horses. However, adult Nightmares have a blood-red flame burning on their hooves, and when they run, it appears as if they are walking on fire. "The Chief knows this person?" Li Qi asked in confusion.
"The two girls from Tian Ling told me about him."
"What should we do next, Chief?" Li Qi inquired.
"Let’s rest and reorganize our entire army. Currently, we have over eight thousand eight hundred troops, and many more are set to join us. We should take these next couple of days to properly reorganize; I’ll leave this matter to you. General!" Yang Chen said.
