Chapter 091: Evil Sorcerer?
"Hmph! Shi Heng, do you really think you can kill my subordinates in front of me?" A delicate voice echoed within Ancient Moon City, as a stream of water-like blue energy intercepted Shi Heng's attack aimed at Yang Chen.
"Lin Tingting, since you've made your move today, I will play with you," Shi Heng challenged.
"Are you afraid?" Lin Tingting replied. After saying this, the two figures soared towards the sky.
"Thousand Household Lord, Shadow Kill Camp's subordinate Hundred Captain Yang Chen requests to pursue," Yang Chen respectfully said in front of He Li Tuan and Xiao Wentian.
Xiao Wentian pondered for a moment and replied, "Agreed."
Upon hearing this, Yang Chen immediately shouted, "Shadow Kill Affiliation, follow me!" He then leaped forward, chasing after the hundred or so people ahead. Among them was only Li Da, a Dou Huang, while the rest were all heavily injured Dou Wang. In no time, Yang Chen caught up with the retreating group of about a hundred. Li Da was startled, thinking it was the main force of Ancient Moon City attacking, but to his surprise, there were only thirteen people. Moreover, the killer of his brother was among them. Unable to contain his anger, Li Da stopped and roared, "Don't run! Damn it, do you think thirteen people can wipe us out? Fight!"
"Yes, Thousand Household Lord."
"Who are you? I do not slay nameless individuals among my subordinates! And since you killed my brother, you must die today!" Li Da said coldly.
"Leave Li Da to me; you all go kill the others," Yang Chen instructed.
"Yes, young master." With that, twelve people charged towards the hundred Dou Wang.
"Dead men have no right to know my name," Yang Chen said coldly to Li Da.
"What a big mouth," Li Da scoffed. "I admit your strength is formidable, and after using secret techniques, you indeed have the qualification to challenge a Dou Huang. But can you still use those secret techniques now? Hmph."
"Why don't you try and find out?" Yang Chen sneered. Indeed, Demonic Wrath and Death Gaze had time limits; however, without Demonic Wrath, did that mean Yang Chen couldn't kill?
"Demon God flashes with wind and thunder!" Suddenly appearing behind Li Da without warning, just as Li Da was about to act, a roar that pierced his soul made him momentarily dazed: "Wrath of the Spirits shakes the world!"

Yang Chen said with a wicked smile: "Playing this big? I'll play until you're dead!" With that, Li Da fell down, a brilliant cross carved into his forehead without a drop of blood flowing out. Yang Chen stroked the blade of Yan Huang Blood Sword softly and said gently: "Brother, do you still want to drink blood?"
Yan Huang Blood Sword trembled slightly, emitting a faint sound of sword chanting. "Alright, let's drink to our heart's content! Ha ha, Xie Yao, keep an eye on all directions, no one is allowed to escape. Today, I want Yan Huang Blood Sword to have a good feast on human blood!" Yang Chen shouted to the sky and then flew towards Xie Yao and the others who were fighting in the distance. Out of a hundred or so Battle Kings, only about seventy remained. After Li Da's death, what awaited them was a Bloodthirsty Demon God!
"Yes, young master." The twelve responded, dividing into four groups, with three people guarding each direction to prevent anyone from escaping.
Ten minutes later, all the Battle Kings were dead, with sixty of them having fallen at Yang Chen's hands.
"Ha ha, buddy, doesn't it feel great? Ha ha." Yang Chen gently asked Yan Huang Blood Sword. In response was a series of cheerful sword chants.
"Don't you think the young master seems a bit off?" Zhang Tian inquired.
"Yes, I feel that way too," Zhao Yu replied.
"What do you think is the reason? Chen wasn't this bloodthirsty before," Xie Yao said worriedly. The Divine Heir group had little contact with Yang Chen and naturally didn't know what was going on; even Zhan Tao shook his head in confusion.
"It's that sword," Li Qi said calmly. The current Li Qi no longer displayed a playful demeanor but was filled with calmness and wisdom; this was a sign of becoming the Grand Marshal of All Armies. "It's the Bloodthirsty consciousness brought by that Blood Sword."
"Exactly. Ever since the young master forged that Blood Sword, he has developed a particular fondness for killing. And have you noticed? These hundred or so people are just corpses," Zhao Yu said.
"I thought something was off. So that's it," Zhang Tian remarked.
"Corpses?" Lei Dong asked in confusion. "What else would they be if not corpses after dying?" "Look at what’s special about these corpses," Zhang Tian questioned.

"Why?" Long Xin asked curiously.
"Because after any creature dies, the essence within them will be absorbed by Young Master," Li Qi explained coldly.
"Ah? That's so evil," Aoxue exclaimed.
"Evil sorcerer?" Hao Yue inquired.
"I may not know what the definition of an evil sorcerer is in your eyes, but if Chen were truly an evil sorcerer, would your family's elders allow you to follow him?" Xie Yao argued.
"Sister Yao makes a good point. The family elders wouldn't let us follow someone evil," Mu Dance nodded in agreement.
"Heavenly Gift, calculate the fortune and misfortune of directly attacking Yellow Dragon Manor. My Longsword still thirsts for blood," Yang Chen said arrogantly. Generally, a city should only have one Demon Lord, two Demon Emperors, and one city lord. Currently, the Demon Lord was absent, and both Demon Emperors were dead. There was nothing wrong with directly attacking the Yellow Dragon; they only feared that Shi Heng might suddenly return.
