Chapter 012: Furious Slash of the Golden Armored Scorpion
As expected, it was impossible to pierce the shell of the Golden Armored Scorpion. Moreover, the scorpion would not give Yang Chen a chance to turn and climb onto its back. Both the Golden Armored Scorpion and Jungle Scorpion were giant Demon Beasts; as he ventured deeper into the cave, its area grew larger and darker.

Walking slowly to the golden glowing object, I saw a small creature, about two centimeters long and wide, with a golden shell resembling a Golden Armored Scorpion, and two pairs of golden wings sprouting from its back. It did not have the two pincers typical of scorpions, nor the six legs unique to the scorpion species; the only things that could be called legs were the four claws that grew from its abdomen.
"Goldie, with you looking like this, I doubt even your mother would recognize you. Your father would definitely think your mother cheated on him. Forget it, you'll follow me from now on; I'll take you out for good food and drinks." Yang Chen shook his head in disbelief at Goldie's appearance. With such a look, it wouldn't be right not to call it a Mutated Beast.

The Shared Contract, while bearing the name of master-servant, functions as an Equal Contract. All resources are shared.
The Level Contract prioritizes the master; any resources obtained by the Demon Beast must be given to the master. Additionally, the master can absorb the Demon Beast's Fighting Spirit for combat and cultivation.
There are three types of contracts passed down from ancient times: Soul Contract, Equal Contract, and Master-Servant Contract.
The Soul Contract is inherited from the divine race; the Equal Contract is self-created by the ancient human race;
The Master-Servant Contract is inherited from the Dark Demon Clan. Each type of contract has its advantages. The Soul Contract allows the Demon Beast to connect with its own soul, maximizing mutual understanding between them.
The Equal Contract establishes an equal relationship with the Demon Beast, treating each other as friends who share their innermost thoughts. This way, the Demon Beast can give everything for you, trusting you unconditionally and assisting you in battles.
The Master-Servant Contract offers two choices for the master: to dominate and deprive the Demon Beast of all enhancements for oneself or to establish a Master-Servant Contract while interacting under an Equal Contract, ultimately enjoying the benefits of an Equal Contract.
