I closed my eyes and let this power guide me.
"Tell me, Shadow Heart, what kind of secret are you hiding?" I silently asked in my heart.
When I opened my eyes again, I found Shadow Sister in danger.
"Don't!" I shouted loudly and ran towards her.
My heart was filled with strength and determination.
I summoned all my energy and swung the weapon in my hand, striking the center of the crystal with all my might.
The crystal vibrated violently, and a crack appeared immediately.
The laser beams vanished in an instant, and the castle began to tremble as well.
Shadow Girl and I leaned against each other tightly as everything around us collapsed.
"We did it," she said softly.
I nodded gently, filled with the exhilaration of victory.
Although we had not yet won the struggle, we had at least found unwavering faith.
Our war had just begun.
The one who spoke like Shadow Girl, a bit anxious and focused on the shadows gathering around us, said, "Our time is really running out."
But before I could respond, the shadow of Shadow Weaver began to slowly restore itself on the shattered crystal fragments.
His power didn't seem to have weakened much at all.
"Oh no!" I couldn't help but shout in anger as I charged at him with my weapon.
Thus, we began a new round of battle.
The fortress shook continuously during our fight, each attack stirring up storms of stones and dust.
I fought alongside Shadow Girl, each swing of our weapons showcasing our full effort.
"Everyone, give it your all!" I commanded loudly, "Break apart his shadows and cut off his source of power!"
Under my guidance, Shadow Girl and I fought with all our might.
In the end, we successfully scattered Shadow Weaver's power into disarray.
His voice gradually faded away in the air. With the disappearance of Shadow Weaver, the vibrations of the fortress also ceased. However, those crystal fragments emitted a brand new power. They slowly rose, swirling around me and Shadow Girl. I gazed at the shimmering fragments, feeling the power of Shadow Heart surging within them. Shadow Girl gently touched the floating fragments. As her fingers brushed against them, the fragments immediately radiated a soft glow. "They are responding to our touch, to our emotions," she whispered to me. I took a deep breath and extended my hands, allowing the fragments to rest in my palms. I felt a warm power instantly spread throughout my body. Shadow Heart resonated strongly with my inner self. "We can no longer hide, we can no longer fear," I declared loudly, "We will harness this power to protect everything we cherish." Shadow Girl nodded vigorously, her gaze firm and bright. "Together, we will face the challenges of the future." Just then, the power within the crystal fragments suddenly became unstable. They began to shake violently, and a mysterious wave of energy rippled out from the center. "Not good!" I exclaimed, quickly pulling Shadow Girl aside. We pressed tightly against the wall of the fortress, watching as the power within the crystal fragments erupted. The energy waves formed a massive circle of light in the air. It slowly expanded, eventually enveloping the entire fortress. Shadow Girl and I felt a powerful pull, our bodies involuntarily drawn toward the center of the circle. In the face of this force, we had no means to resist; we could only let it consume us. In that moment of losing consciousness, I heard Shadow Girl's voice, filled with unwavering conviction.
"No matter where we go, we are always together."
Then, everything fell into endless darkness.
