The carriage sped along, and soon we arrived at the restaurant.
We got off and walked inside, where the official from the Secret Intelligence Bureau in Haining, Situ Chaozong, was already waiting for us.
"Lord Ye!" Situ Chaozong greeted me with a smile.
"Lord Situ!" I responded with a smile.
"Everyone!" Situ Chaozong cupped his hands together and said, "You've all worked hard on the way here! I'm here to treat you to a welcome feast!"
Situ Chaozong was indeed generous, setting up two full tables of food and drink.
"Lord Ye," Situ Chaozong pulled me aside and whispered, "Lord Feng told me that everything is under your command."
"Don't say that," I replied with a smile. "We're unfamiliar with Haining; we'll need your help, Lord Situ."
"No problem!" Situ Chaozong patted his chest. "If there's anything you need, just let me know, Lord Ye!"
"Great!" I nodded.
Situ Chaozong was quite accommodating; he offered us the best room to rest. I had a good sleep, and the next morning, Situ Chaozong invited us to the Assembly Hall to brief us on the situation.
"Hu Jingtian is currently residing at the port," Situ Chaozong said. "Feng Qinian bought him a courtyard."
"What does he do every day?" I asked.
"Every morning, I go out," Situ Chaozong said. "Usually, I take a walk nearby, and sometimes I sit in a tea house. In the afternoon, I generally stay at home, and occasionally go to a restaurant in the evening."
"What did he do in Jing Jiang?" I asked.
"He embezzled a large amount of salary funds," Situ Chaozong replied. "He also had an affair with Yingzhou Spy and might have sold some intelligence."
"This guy really deserves it," I cursed.
"Yes," Situ Chaozong nodded. "Lord Feng has already given the order; he must be eliminated!"
"This task is quite difficult," I pondered. "When he is walking, it's hard for us to act because there are too many people around. When he goes to the tea house, we can't act either because it's run by Yingzhou People, and we can't leave any evidence. We could act at the restaurant, but Hu Jingtian may not go there."
"Yes," Situ Chaozong nodded. "We also find it tricky."

"Yes!" Situ Chaozong said, "We are also at a loss."
"Is your family from Haining?" I asked Sister Thirteen.
"No," Sister Thirteen shook her head, "My family is from Nanjiang."
"You silly girl," I laughed, "I wasn't asking that. I meant to ask if you are familiar with Haining?"
"Kind of," Sister Thirteen replied, "I grew up in Nanjiang, but I often come to Haining."
"Are you familiar with the port?" I asked.
"Pretty familiar," Sister Thirteen nodded, "I have an aunt who lives there, and I often go to her house to play."
"That's good," I nodded and continued, "Your task today is to go to the port and take a good look around to see if there's anything suitable for us to take action on."
"Understood!" Sister Thirteen responded.
"Mou Xiaoning!" I called out.
"Here!" Mou Xiaoning replied.
