"Buy it?" Lin Mautsai was taken aback.
"Yes," I smiled. "I want to buy 30% of Xia Yin."
"What?!" Lin Mautsai exclaimed in shock. "Impossible! You..."
"Mr. Lin," I smiled, "don't be anxious. You can take your time to consider."
Lin Mautsai stared at me, his gaze almost devouring me.
I remained unbothered, simply smiling back at him.
After a long while, Lin Mautsai finally let out a long sigh.
He closed his eyes and weakly waved his hand. "Alright, I agree."
"Mr. Lin, you will be glad for today's choice," I smiled.
Lin Mautsai ignored me, leaning weakly against the chair in silence.
"Mr. Lin, I wish us a pleasant cooperation," I said with a smile as I extended my hand.
Lin Mautsai opened his eyes, looked at me, and after a long moment, he reached out and shook my hand.
"Mr. Lin, I hope we can complete all the paperwork today," I smiled. "I don't want any prolonged delays."
"Okay," Lin Mautsai nodded weakly.
"Oh, by the way," I suddenly chuckled. "I forgot to tell you that my business is called Daxia Market."
"Daxia Market?" Lin Mautsai was taken aback.
"Yes." I smiled, "The owner of the Daxia Market is named Lin Feng."
"Lin Feng?!" Lin Mautsai exclaimed in shock, "Are you one of Lin Feng's people?!"
"Yes." I nodded, "To be precise, I am his subordinate."
Lin Mautsai looked at me in astonishment. After a long pause, he gave a bitter smile and said, "I see... I understand now..."
"Lin Yuanwai, you don't need to worry." I smiled, "Since you've chosen to cooperate, I will treat you as one of my own. I am always very forgiving towards friends."
Lin Mautsai fell silent for a while before nodding, "Alright."
"Lin Yuanwai, then we shall take our leave." I smiled, "I look forward to your good news."
Lin Mautsai weakly nodded.
I smiled as I left with my two subordinates.
Not long after I left, Liu Liu suddenly walked into Lin Mautsai's inner chamber.
"Owner." Liu Liu whispered, "There is news."
"What is it?" Lin Mautsai turned to Liu Liu.
Liu Liu hesitated for a moment, then took out a small box from his pocket and handed it to Lin Mautsai.
Lin Mautsai took the box and hesitated for a moment before opening it.
As soon as the box opened, Lin Mautsai suddenly let out a scream and jumped up.
"Is he crazy?!" Lin Mautsai shouted, "He's gone mad!!"
Inside the box was a finger!
"Boss..." Liu Liu said softly, "I told you, if you don't agree, he will kill your sister-in-law's entire family..."
"Dare he?!" Lin Mautsai yelled.
"He said if you don't believe him, he can let you experience it first," Liu Liu replied. "This is your sister-in-law's finger..."
Lin Mautsai trembled all over, staring at the finger in the box, his face pale.
After a long time, Lin Mautsai seemed to be drained of all his strength. He slumped in the chair and weakly waved his hand, "Go... everyone leave..."
Liu Liu opened his mouth but ultimately said nothing and quietly retreated.
Lin Mautsai lay back in the chair, staring blankly at the ceiling.
In his mind, the gentle smile of my face kept appearing.
"Bastard..." Lin Mautsai murmured to himself, "Damn it..."
