At that moment, a deep rumbling sound suddenly echoed from within the ancient tomb. The ground began to shake, and stones from the walls started to fall. It felt as if the entire tomb was welcoming us for the ritual we had just performed. I pointed to the center of the formation, where the space was becoming increasingly distorted. A blinding light gate slowly emerged. 0

The three of us stared intently at the door, filled with surprise and unease. An immense force surged from the gate, accompanied by dazzling light. We had no choice but to quickly close our eyes to avoid being harmed by the intense brightness. Once the light dimmed slightly, we dared to slowly open our eyes. 0

What lay before us left us utterly stunned, rendering us speechless. Behind that door was a new world shimmering with light, filled with energy and creatures we had never seen before. I saw various strange plants, floating islands in mid-air, and even monsters flying around in the sky. 0

"We did it..." I murmured softly, my heart filled with awe. Old Li's face displayed an expression of disbelief. "We really did it... We found a passage to another world." Molly's eyes sparkled with excitement. "This is the secret we've been searching for all along, and now it's right in front of us." 0

As the ritual grew more lively, it felt like the air around us was thinning, and the temperature was dropping rapidly. This situation made me a bit anxious; it seemed that this ritual might lead to unforeseen consequences. "This ritual might not just be about opening a door to City of Forgotten; it could also release something we can't control," I quickly warned them. 0

Old Li nodded upon hearing this, his expression turning particularly serious. "We need to be prepared in advance to avoid any accidents." Molly understood the gravity of the situation as well; she glanced at us and then said softly, "I'll keep an eye on things here. If anything seems off, I'll let you know immediately." 0

After saying that, she walked through the light door by herself. Old Li and I quickly followed her into a completely unfamiliar place. 0

The sky in this new world was a strange shade of purple, and the buildings were tall, but they gave off a cold and lifeless feeling. The sound of our footsteps echoed on the empty street, each step seeming to remind us that there were dangers lurking that we did not know about. 0

We cautiously wandered through the city, aware that every corner might hold traps or secrets waiting for us. Just as we passed through a narrow alley, a young man emerged from the shadows. 0

He appeared quite alert, but it was clear he was also a bit confused. “You guys are from outside, right?” he asked us, his tone uncertain. 0

I nodded and tried to ask him, “Are you a local here?” 0

He shook his head and said with a wry smile, “I’m just a lost adventurer who has been wandering around here for several days but still can’t find a way out.” 0

Old Li sized him up and then asked, “How did you end up here?” 0

The young man sighed, his eyes filled with helplessness. “I just love adventure; I didn’t expect to fall into such a pit. You guys don’t seem like bad people; could you take me with you? I really can’t handle this alone anymore.” 0

I looked at Old Li, and he nodded in agreement. “Alright, you can follow us as we look for an exit.” 0
