"Hmph, what a useless thing," the dark figure sneered coldly, then suddenly grabbed Hui Fen, who felt a tightness in her throat and found it hard to breathe.
Li Rui immediately stepped forward to intervene, but the shadow shouted, "If you dare come closer, I'll take your life."
Li Rui halted his steps because at that moment, Hui Fen was in someone else's hands, and her life could be taken at any moment.

The shadow was taken aback and turned to look at Zhu Yunzhi. "So it's you."
The crowd erupted in surprise. Could this really be Shadow Phoenix? It was said that this person was incredibly skilled and could use illusions.
He had roamed the martial world for a time, known by all. Li Rui smiled slightly; so this was Shadow Phoenix.
"Don't try any tricks on me; take this!" The shadow appeared impatient as he swung his staff toward Li Rui. In an instant, a strange wind made Li Rui feel uneasy.
Suddenly, multiple transparent Phoenixes emanating a spiritual glow emerged from Shadow Phoenix. The Phoenix charged forward like a ghostly deity, unafraid of the ground beneath it, rushing towards Li Rui. Hundreds of Phoenix displayed their incredible agility and powerful techniques, transforming into shadows that pounced forward.
Outside, the Phoenix gathered together, preparing to attack.

"Child, you have some skill," Shadow Phoenix said calmly, a hint of a smile appearing at the corner of its mouth, and then it launched another attack towards Li Rui.
As Li Rui waved his fingers, a large ball of fire ignited in his hand and surged towards the oncoming Phoenix.
In an instant, Shadow Phoenix watched helplessly as its companion Phoenix was roasted alive, while it itself was powerless. The remaining Phoenix, filled with both anger and helplessness, transformed into faint shadows; since the Phoenix were illusions, they naturally had no life.

Immediately, the shadow grabbed Hui Fen and crushed her into powder. In an instant, the enraged shadow killed Hui Fen.
“Hui Fen.” Li Rui shouted in anguish, tears streaming down his face. Hui Fen was dead! Killed by this villain.
With a bang, a figure shot up from the audience, followed by swirling white smoke. Shadow Phoenix stepped forward, laughing, “Haha, your woman is gone. Next, I will take revenge for Phoenix.”
But Li Rui did not think that way. After going through a chaotic battle, he truly wanted to take a moment to recover. However, Shadow Phoenix was now starting to harass him again. Moreover, he had killed Hui Fen, the woman he loved, and in that moment, endless rage transformed into overwhelming power.
With a calm expression on his handsome face, Li Rui felt the wind brush through his hair. A glint of murderous intent flashed in his obsidian-like eyes; you have forced my hand.
“Is that all you've got? You should just run for your life; don’t think you can stop me!” His voice thundered, startling everyone around him. They exchanged glances as Li Rui’s eyes lit up. Shadow Phoenix had now turned into a raging inferno; his lips were purple, and his hair stood on end, resembling a demonic presence. No wonder everyone called him the Ghost Doctor; it seemed to be his true skill.
With a fierce shout, Shadow Phoenix glared at Li Rui, channeling a bright energy in his hands. Li Rui vaguely sensed an unknown energy that was particularly blinding. At that moment, Ouyang Xinxin also felt a chill; she had never seen such a technique before—it was truly rare.
“I will make sure your body is shattered into pieces and you will never be reborn,” Shadow Phoenix’s chilling voice echoed again, forcing Li Rui to focus. He then saw the devilish Shadow Phoenix glaring at him fiercely, like a beast eyeing its prey.
Seeing the situation before him, Li Rui quickly formulated a plan and extended his palm with all his strength toward Shadow Phoenix. He lowered his gaze, unable to bear looking at what would happen next because he couldn’t believe how things would unfold; he could only give it everything he had and draw upon all the internal energy within him.
But to everyone's astonishment, Shadow Phoenix fell to the ground, spewing bright red blood!
"What, Shadow Phoenix is so weak!" Everyone began to question.
Li Rui let out a long sigh, suddenly collapsing to the ground. He was already exhausted and fell asleep with his eyes closed. He had just used all his internal energy; it seemed effortless, but he was completely drained.
Shadow Phoenix was severely injured and fell to the ground.
Li Rui won, but lost Hui Fen.
At this moment, he felt an endless pain as if he had lost a family member.
"Why is this happening?" Li Rui shouted in anger, questioning.
However, he still had to face reality.
Soon after, Li Rui left, heading towards Mysterious Valley.
