He told Li Rui that his father had once mentioned that this box might contain an extraordinarily powerful force, and that attempting to possess it would likely come at a steep price.Li Rui paused, but the Yin-Yang Qilin suddenly sprang into action. Li Rui exclaimed in surprise.The Yin-Yang Qilin nonchalantly fired off a few beams of light, reducing the zombies to piles of white powder, restoring peace to the surroundings."This is bad, there's corpse poison!" Li Rui shouted.He immediately recognized a familiar smell wafting through the air, and soon after, he felt a slight dizziness.His warning came too late, as someone had already collapsed. The Yin-Yang Qilin, however, seemed unaffected, likely because it had been here before. It shook its head vigorously, staying alert.Li Rui quickly channeled True Dragon Qi into Cold Arrows's vital points and administered a medicinal herb, reviving him after a short while."The things here are incredibly bizarre; we can't touch anything carelessly," Li Rui warned.They had no idea how long they had been traveling when they finally reached the bottom of a vast labyrinth. The maze was incredibly large, with every corner appearing as a dead end. The slopes were steep, spanning ten levels, each connected to the next.Li Rui furrowed his brow, standing at the center, observing the nine "Cold" doors. These dragons were unlike the ones he had seen earlier. They could transform into human form, creating a scene both eerie and mysterious.In the midst of the vision, the character "Leader" appeared prominently above Li Rui's head, as if designating him as a commander.Then he saw a book with words inscribed on it, words he knew all too well—the "Azure Dragon Meditation Technique."Li Rui was thoroughly confused. The book should have been destroyed, yet here it was, as if it had never been burned. I saw several unfamiliar families in those images, but one of them stood out—the Roc family!" Xielong replied."Could it be that the dragon you saw was the Azure Dragon?" Li Rui asked.Xielong nodded again but admitted that it didn’t understand the subsequent images. They seemed to depict something beyond its comprehension.The Yin-Yang Qilin seemed to sense that there was still something unusual about Li Rui, looking at him with a peculiar gaze.Li Rui, however, simply patted the Qilin’s head and smiled wryly, thinking, "This thing may be evil, but it’s my captive now."
