Li Rui picked up a stick from the ground and looked at the two Dwarfs across from him.
He had to retrieve the Seven-Inch Heart and Soul-Settling Grass.
"Beasts, give me back my things!"
Li Rui was displeased and felt angry as he stared at the two Dwarfs.
"Bang!"
A Five Demons' Nirvana Seal was directly thrown at them.
The two Dwarfs lunged at him from both sides, but Li Rui focused his mind and created a clone.

"What do you want from us?"
The two Dwarves were very angry; they felt that Li Rui was being too arrogant. They had already apologized to him, so what more did he want?
"Just your lives," Li Rui said flatly, as if it were a trivial matter.
His attitude infuriated the two Dwarves.
He thought he could take their heads with such a calm statement? Was he joking?
"Arrogant Human, you will regret this."
The muscles on the faces of the two Dwarves began to rot.
Their already unattractive faces gradually lost color until they turned into pools of blood.
Two strands of black mist floated in the air.
"Human, we will make you pay for this."
A chilling voice lingered in the air, echoing in Li Rui's mind.
Li Rui felt a chill run down his spine. If he had known this would happen, he wouldn't have wasted time talking; he would have just killed them both. Now, he was left with two potential threats.
But what was this strange sentence? Li Rui had no idea.
This thing was stored within a person's body, which was why it took on a human form?
Li Rui jumped onto the tree. Old Monster had not returned yet, and if she didn't come back soon, those two creatures would probably come looking for him again.
It was almost midnight when Old Monster finally returned.
Looking at the previously peaceful surroundings, which had now turned into a mess, Old Monster knew something must have happened.
"What happened?"
Old Monster asked Li Rui directly and straightforwardly.
Li Rui recounted the events to Old Monster. Old Monster's brows furrowed tightly, as if he had discovered something significant.
"Who are those two people? Are they not Human?"
Old Monster looked at Li Rui incredulously.
"Yes, Senior, those two things are definitely not Human, but they are also not beasts."
Li Rui also remembered to return the Seven-Inch Heart and Soul-Settling Grass to Old Monster.
Old Monster smiled and said, "Actually, these two items are for you."
Li Rui was taken aback; these two items were so precious, and they were actually meant for him!
"No way, Senior! The Seven-Inch Heart and Soul-Settling Grass are too valuable; I can't accept them."
Old Monster looked displeased. "This guy. After knowing you for so long, I just realized you're so pretentious."
"But Senior, these two items are of no use to me!"
Li Rui still declined. Although he had harbored greedy thoughts about these two items, they were hard-earned by Old Monster.
Old Monster shook his head. Since this guy wouldn't accept it, he would wait until he refined the Elixir and then give it to her.

Li Rui and Old Monster prepared to leave this place to find the last Spiritual Herb.

Based on the description on Ling Daozi's scroll, after about an hour, Li Rui and Old Monster found this place.
It was an endless barren field with nothing around, exactly as described in Ling Daozi's scroll.
Li Rui crouched down and discovered a decaying medicinal root beneath his feet.
Looking around carefully, he noticed that not far away there were some more decaying medicinal roots.
What could have caused this once thriving Medicinal Field to become a wasteland?
This was a question worth pondering. Just as Li Rui thought of this, a commotion arose in the distance.
Old Monster, quick-witted, raised a True Qi barrier around the two of them.
Suddenly, a giant head appeared in their line of sight.
"What the hell is that?"
Li Rui couldn't help but complain inwardly.
The scroll of Ling Daozi did not mention this thing.
Before long, the entire body of the giant monster was revealed to the two.
It was a Locust!
It seemed that this creature had devoured all the Spiritual Herbs in this area!
Li Rui thought about how it must have gained immense power from consuming so many Spiritual Herbs and felt a wave of sweat on his brow.
Why didn't he have such good luck to become so powerful just by eating these Spiritual Herbs?
If he wasn't mistaken, this was just an ordinary Locust that couldn't cultivate.
He wondered what had brought it to this Herb Garden.
"Senior, how confident are you in facing this Locust?"
Li Rui turned to Old Monster and asked.
"I can't see through its strength. However, it shouldn't be a problem to deal with it," Old Monster replied while stroking his beard.
"Alright, Senior, I'll leave this bug to you. I'm going to find the last herb."
After Li Rui nodded at Old Monster, he withdrew his True Qi barrier.
Old Monster's body soared into the air.
The surrounding True Qi surged wildly with the handprint of the Old Monster.
The Giant Bug looked at the Old Monster. Its body, as large as a fly, buzzed around in front of him, making him quite irritated.
He decided to swallow this flying creature whole!
The Giant Locust extended one of its claws, preparing to grab the Old Monster, but was suddenly struck back by a powerful surge of True Qi!
As you Rui saw a massive shadow with bared fangs and claws crashing toward him, he immediately dodged to the side!
"Boom!"
The Medicinal Field was instantly smashed into a giant pit.
The Old Monster stroked his beard, realizing that this creature wasn't that impressive after all! It was simply no match for him.
However, just as the Old Monster finished speaking, his face suddenly turned a deep purple!
