Guardian of the Time Rift

In this seemingly peaceful modern world, I can sense an ominous turmoil. A series of natural disasters have suddenly erupted around the globe, with the frequency and intensity of earthquakes, tsunamis, hurricanes, and other extreme weather events exceeding normal ranges. Details of some historical events have begun to distort, with eyewitness memories conflicting with historical records, leading historians to discover multiple inconsistencies in unexplained historical events. As these instabilities increase, society begins to experience unrest; people's uncertainty about the future intensifies, resulting in a series of social issues, including economic fluctuations and political turmoil. Cracks occasionally appear in the sky, like scars of time, heralding the arrival of a great crisis.
My name is Li Jin, a 29-year-old historian and inventor, a reclusive outsider with extraordinary physical abilities and reflexes, who has also mastered martial arts in these chaotic times. My laboratory is filled with various bizarre devices, but what I am most proud of is the recently completed Time Rift Detector.
It was an ordinary afternoon when I found myself alone in the lab, holding my latest invention—the Time Rift Detector. This device is the result of countless days and nights of hard work; it can detect those unstable Time Rifts. Just as I was intently observing the data on the instrument, a sudden violent tremor struck, causing the walls of the lab to crack open. The fissures approached me like living creatures.
Instinctively wanting to escape, at that moment when I turned around, a powerful force engulfed me. I felt as if I were being pulled into a vortex where time and space lost all meaning.
When I opened my eyes, I found myself in a strange space. There was no up or down, only countless points of light and flowing radiance. Each touch of the light streams allowed me to experience different historical fragments; I seemed to traverse through time and space, feeling the splendor of ancient Egypt, the mystery of Babylon, the tranquility of Ancient India, the myths of Ancient Greece, the Dragon Vein of Ancient China, the calendar of the Maya, and the sinking of Atlantis.
I realized that these light streams were fragments of time. A sense of fear washed over me; this space was too unstable. The deep roars emanating from the cracks suggested that something was trying to tear apart this realm.
I had to find my way back; otherwise, I might be lost here forever. Using a multifunctional watch on my wrist equipped with basic navigation and data analysis functions, I activated its spectral analyzer to analyze the colors and intensity of the light streams in search of the brightest and most stable light source—possibly the origin of these light streams. I began to control my movements toward areas dense with light points. Suddenly, a light stream surged toward me; instinctively dodging it, I felt a chill in my arm as a deep wound appeared.
"Damn it!" I exclaimed in pain; these light streams could actually harm me. I continued moving toward the brightest light source while dodging incoming light streams using my agility and understanding of their patterns. After numerous attempts and failures, I finally approached the core of the light source.
It was a massive sphere of light, quietly suspended in mid-air, emitting a soft yet stable glow. I could feel its power; it was the heart of this space-time—a starting point and endpoint for all light streams.
I reached out to touch the sphere; a warm and powerful force surged into my body as I found myself holding a mini-device resembling a Navigator.
At that moment, I heard the voice of the Time Messenger: "Congratulations on becoming a Time Guardian! This is your Navigator for accessing ancient ruins."
