Under the guidance of Uncle Wen, several of us masters entered Wen Meige's room.
The room was tidy and cozy, with a large solid wood bed where Wen Meige lay quietly, covered with a light green sheet.
I carefully observed Wen Meige on the bed; her features were exquisite and her beauty stunning.
With a fair complexion and a hint of rosy glow, she had an oval face, elegantly arched willow-leaf eyebrows, a delicate nose, and cherry-like lips, resembling a fairy descended to earth.
She was the most beautiful girl I had ever seen!
Looking at Wen Meige made my heart race.
"Miss Wen is possessed by evil energy; all it takes is a talisman to drive it away!"
The Yin-Yang Master approached, took out a yellow talisman, chanted some incantations, and placed it on Wen Meige's forehead.
I observed closely and found that the Yin-Yang Master's talisman was just an ordinary piece of yellow paper with some strange patterns drawn on it with a brush.
"Boss Wen, I have calculated the young lady's tribulations; she will awaken tomorrow!"
The Yin-Yang Master counted on his fingers, pretending to calculate, and said, "Boss Wen, within three days, you must convert the three-story villa into a two-story one to avoid evil!"
"Why?"
I couldn't help but ask.
"What do you know?"
The Yin-Yang Master shot me a glance and said, "Miss Wen's tribulations are too great; a three-story villa is too high and easily attracts evil spirits!"
"That's ridiculous!"
I scoffed. "If it attracts evil spirits, lowering the floor will prevent it?"
"If you don't understand, keep your mouth shut!"
The Yin-Yang Master's face flushed as he said, "Boss Wen, just do as I say, and I guarantee the young lady will wake up!"
"Uncle Wen, don't listen to his nonsense; it's all absurd!"
I said.
"You damn it, dare to say I'm a liar?"
The Yin-Yang Master was furious.
"If you're not a liar, then what are you?"
I retorted with a cold smile.
"Fine, let's make a bet. If you can wake Miss Wen within a few seconds, I'll eat shit!"
The Yin-Yang Master shouted with wide eyes.
"Alright, I remember your words!"
I chuckled and said, "Uncle Wen, your daughter will wake up in just a few minutes!"
"Really?"
Uncle Wen looked excited.
"He's lying!"
At that moment, the Shaman stepped forward, holding a copper bell, waving it as he said, "Miss Wen is possessed by an evil spirit and won't wake up until forty-nine days later!"
As he spoke, the Shaman began to jump around in a strange manner, as if he were cramping.
"What kind of treatment is this?"
I couldn't help but ask.
"You don't understand anything! I'm summoning the gods!"
The Shaman glared at me and said, "Just now, the Supreme Laozi possessed me. Miss Wen is in great danger; only I can save her!"
"What nonsense about the Supreme Laozi? It's feudal superstition!"
I couldn't help but retort.
"Boss Wen, don't listen to this kid; he's just a fraud!"
The Shaman said.
"You are the liar!"
I was furious; it's one thing to insult me, but it's another to demean my character.
"How dare you insult me?"
The Shaman stopped dancing and clenched his fists, ready to hit me.
"You two stop arguing and listen to what Pure Enlightenment Immortal Lady has to say!"
Uncle Wen waved his hand and said.
At that moment, Pure Enlightenment Immortal Lady stepped forward, dressed in a Daoist robe, holding a sword, singing and dancing as if she were performing.
"Miss Wen has been freed from her calamity; she will awaken tomorrow morning!"
Pure Enlightenment Immortal Lady declared.
"How do you know she will wake up tomorrow morning?"
I couldn't help but ask.
"This is a heavenly secret and cannot be revealed!"
Pure Enlightenment Immortal Lady shook her head vigorously as she spoke.
