We exerted all our strength, gritting our teeth, and finally managed to loosen the panel a bit, revealing a narrow passage. The footsteps of the Guardian grew clearer, and the sound of chains became increasingly piercing, as if they were striking right beside us. 0

"It has discovered us," I whispered. 0

"Hurry in," Lu Yuanbai urged. 0

We quickly squeezed into the narrow passage. Although this route was filled with uncertainty and danger, it might be our only chance for survival. The air inside the passage was stuffy and hot, mixed with an unpleasant odor. We could only crawl forward cautiously, each breath feeling like we were swallowing fear. 0

I knew we had to leave this place as soon as possible. Otherwise, we would be caught by the One-Eyed Guardian and dragged into endless darkness. 0

"Lu Yuanbai, look ahead..." I pointed forward. 0

The beam of Lu Yuanbai's flashlight illuminated a pile of debris ahead. It was a chaotic mess of boxes and scrap that blocked our way. 0

"We need to move these things," I said. 0

Lu Yuanbai nodded, took a deep breath, and began to clear the boxes. I joined him, every movement filled with tension and urgency—our desire to survive clashing against the threat of death. 0

Suddenly, an old control panel appeared before us. 0

"What is this?" I asked curiously. 0

Lu Yuanbai picked up the control panel and began to examine it. 0

"Maybe it's a switch for the door," he speculated. 0

Working together, we finally heard the sound of machinery whirring to life. The door ahead slowly opened, a beam of light shining in from outside and illuminating our faces. 0

"We did it!" I cheered excitedly. "This is amazing; we're saved!" 0

Lu Yuanbai smiled too, but soon his expression turned serious again. 0

"We can't let our guard down," he reminded me. "The Guardian is likely still nearby." 0

We hurried through the door and arrived in another carriage. The air here was even more oppressive than before, carrying an uncomfortable chill that seemed to freeze our breaths. 0

We began to examine this new carriage, which appeared older than the one we had just left. Mysterious symbols were carved into the walls, identical to the patterns on the tickets in our hands. I knew well that such a scene could not be a coincidence. 0

“Lu Yuanbai, come look at these symbols…” I said, pointing to the designs on the wall, “They are exactly the same as those on the ticket.” I tried to understand the meaning of these symbols, but they seemed so obscure and difficult to decipher. My voice echoed in the silent carriage, filled with a tense urgency. 0

Lu Yuanbai did not respond immediately; he cautiously scanned the surroundings before slowly approaching the symbols to ensure our safety. “Xiao Yangxia, I think something is off about these symbols,” he whispered. “They seem to conceal some important information.” 0

Lu Yuanbai was right; these ancient and peculiar symbols resembled some form of mysterious writing or graffiti. We began to search for clues throughout the carriage, gently touching the walls with our fingers in an attempt to find any small traces. 0

Suddenly, I noticed strange scratch marks on the seats. These scratches were unusual, appearing as if they were left by some unknown creature. Fear filled my heart, making it nearly impossible to remain calm, but Lu Yuanbai held my hand tightly, giving me strength and courage. 0
