After Liu Liu left, Sister Thirteen asked me, "My lord, what did you send Liu Liu to do?"
I smiled and replied, "It's nothing, just a small task."
Just then, I suddenly heard a commotion outside.
I frowned and asked, "What's going on?"
Sister Thirteen walked out and returned after a while, whispering, "My lord, it's Lin Mautsai who has come."
I sneered, "Speak of the devil, Lin Mautsai is quite well-informed."
Sister Thirteen asked, "My lord, will you see him?"
I thought for a moment and replied with a smile, "Of course, why wouldn't I?"
Sister Thirteen was taken aback. "My lord, are you really planning to meet him?"
I nodded. "Since Lin Mautsai is here, it means he has received news. He wants to test us to see what we really think of him.
If we don't meet him, won't that make him think we're afraid of him?"
Sister Thirteen pondered for a moment and said, "My lord, then... how do you plan to deal with him?"

Just then, the door to the room was pushed open, and Lin Mautsai walked in.

I shook my head. "I'm sorry, Mr. Lin, but I can't tell you that."

I smiled and replied, "Mr. Lin, I've already said I can't tell you."
Lin Mautsai sneered. "Ye Commander, are you just making excuses?"
I shook my head again. "Mr. Lin, why would I need to make excuses?"
Lin Mautsai curled his lip and said, "Ye Commander, don't tell me you're really here on official business?"
I nodded. "Mr. Lin, you guessed it right; I'm here on official business."
Lin Mautsai was puzzled. "Ye Commander, what do you mean by that?"
I laughed and said, "Mr. Lin, let me be straightforward with you. As long as you stop engaging in smuggling activities, we can coexist peacefully—you go your way and I'll go mine. But if you intend to continue with smuggling, then I'm sorry; I've been ordered from above to conduct a thorough investigation!"
Lin Mautsai stared at me for a long moment before suddenly bursting into laughter. "Ye Commander, you really know how to joke! You just said that as long as I stop smuggling, you won't cause me any trouble?"
