Even the Daoist Sect Leader did not anticipate that the Evil Ridge Sect Leader would suddenly strike. For a moment, he was caught off guard, and just as Ling Mo Xie was about to be caught by the enormous black dragon claw, the Daoist Sect Leader prepared to intervene, but it seemed too late.

Luo Yan had originally been an unknown figure; even the Evil Ridge Sect Leader thought he was just an ordinary disciple of the Heavenly Demon Sect. However, after discovering the Demon Tomb, the Evil Ridge Sect Leader investigated and learned that Luo Yan was actually a descendant of the Heavenly Demon Sect. It was not surprising that he could utilize some traps within the Demon Tomb.
Seeing that Luo Yan had rescued Ling Mo Xie, the Evil Ridge Sect Leader's face darkened. He looked around but could not discern anything useful and had to admit that the Heavenly Demon Sect was indeed much stronger than them.
After surveying the area, the Evil Ridge Sect Leader could only threaten Luo Yan, saying, "You better come out yourself. I can overlook what you've done this time; otherwise... I guarantee there won't be a single survivor from your Heavenly Demon Sect!"
As soon as the Evil Ridge Sect Leader finished speaking, he waited for Luo Yan's response but received no reply. Naturally, Luo Yan did not come out either. Now that they were here and had reached this point, his only plan was to bury the Evil Ridge Sect Leader here.

It was created by the Heavenly Demon Sect. There are a total of three thousand such spaces throughout the entire Central Hall, and most of these spaces have traps set by the Heavenly Demon Sect. One space has already disappeared; it must have been broken by you all."
Ling Mo Xie nodded in shock at Luo Yan's explanation. The blood-red space they had just broken through was merely one of those three thousand small spaces within the grand hall?
The Heavenly Demon Sect seemed to be much more formidable than he had imagined!
"Then what about that thing we saw in the grand hall? It seemed capable of controlling both the Central Hall and the entire Demon Tomb; it was floating on that chair in the center of the grand hall. Now that we are hiding in this space and the Key has been seized by the Evil Ridge Sect Leader, what should we do?"
After listening to Luo Yan's explanation, Ling Mo Xie recalled their purpose for coming here and said to Luo Yan with some concern.
Luo Yan chuckled and said, "You don't need to worry about that. How could the Heavenly Demon Sect possibly leave something that controls the entire Demon Tomb just sitting there?"
"Although it seems that the object is right in the main hall, on that seat, and appears to be just a step away, in reality, that's merely a projection of one of the small spaces. The Key that controls the Demon Tomb and the entire seat are not actually in the main hall; they are located in one of these three thousand small spaces. Moreover, that particular space is very special. While other small spaces remain stationary, that one can continuously move within these three thousand small spaces, and its position is not fixed."
Ling Mo Xie nodded and smirked with schadenfreude. The Heavenly Demon Sect was indeed impressive; the Evil Ridge Sect Leader and the Daoist Sect Leader were both among the highest cultivators in today's Cultivation World, yet they failed to notice this detail. They also thought it was just an ordinary main hall, at most with some traps set by the Heavenly Demon Sect.
In the main hall, the Evil Ridge Sect Leader was furious at Luo Yan's prolonged silence but felt helpless. Even he dared not act recklessly in this Central Hall set up by the Heavenly Demon Sect; who knew what traps awaited him? "We should quickly bring Xu Qingfeng and Daoist Sect Leader in and find that small space containing the Key to control the Demon Tomb before Evil Ridge Sect Leader discovers any clues and gets there first," Ling Mo Xie said to Luo Yan after hearing his explanation.
Ling Mo Xie paid no mind to the trembling space; after all, this space was created by the Heavenly Demon Sect and wouldn't be easy to break through.
"Alright!" Luo Yan nodded. He activated his Spiritual Energy, allowing a wave of Spiritual Energy similar to that which composed the small space to gently merge into it. It seemed as if Luo Yan could see what was happening outside; he reached out and pulled Xu Qingfeng and Hong Chi inside.
Xu Qingfeng and Hong Chi, just pulled in, were confused like Ling Mo Xie had been earlier. However, Ling Mo Xie and Luo Yan didn't have time to explain much to them as they prepared to pull in Daoist Sect Leader as well.
At this moment, seeing the two disappear again, both Evil Ridge Sect Leader and Daoist Sect Leader furrowed their brows as they began to suspect something.
Evil Ridge Sect Leader's eyes shifted; instead of continuing his chaotic attacks, he looked toward Daoist Sect Leader's back with a meaningful smile creeping onto his face.

Naturally, the Daoist Sect Leader was no fool either; otherwise, he wouldn't hold the position of Daoist Sect Leader. Having seen Xu Qingfeng and others disappear earlier, he had already formed a suspicion. Therefore, when the Evil Ridge Sect Leader attacked that area of spatial fluctuation, he quickly reacted. Luo Yan spoke with a heavy tone: "Since the Evil Ridge Sect Leader has discovered this space and it will not move, this place is no longer safe. Follow me!" After saying this, without further delay, he turned around and activated his Spiritual Energy to move forward through the small space.
