Ling Mo Xie turned to glance at Hong Chi. "You! All you think about is food! I bet if I threw you in water, you'd float like a round ball!"
"Hmph! That's because you don't know how to enjoy life! Food is the essence of life, you know? Besides, I'm a Fire Spirit; I can change my body however I want! So, are you going to agree or not?"
Ling Mo Xie looked at the setting sun on the horizon and thought about the urgent situation in the Izumo Kingdom. Moreover, even System Alchemy takes time. He clapped his hands and said, "Alright, let's keep looking. We'll find a city to settle down in after the sun sets!"
"What? No way!" Hong Chi's face fell immediately, looking dejected as he spoke weakly.

Just as Ling Mo Xie was about to cautiously approach and take a look, he suddenly heard a roar that seemed to shake the heavens!
"Awwooo!"
Ling Mo Xie quickly stopped in his tracks and exchanged a glance with Hong Chi, both looking toward the direction of the cave. Suddenly, a massive gust of wind and waves surged up simultaneously, forcing both Ling Mo Xie and Hong Chi to shield their eyes.
"Damn it! What’s going on? Could it be a Demon Beast or a Spirit Beast with Dragon Vein?" Ling Mo Xie muttered under his breath, recalling his earlier thoughts and speculating.
At that moment, the answer appeared.
Flying out of the cave was a giant black python, its scales the size of human heads. Its mouth opened wide, spewing slime everywhere as it coiled above the raging waves.
Due to the moonless night, the giant python blended almost perfectly into the darkness.
"Wow! Boss, is this what Izumo King meant by a snake with Dragon Vein? Wasn't he just messing with us? Didn’t he say we could just pass by? Why is this snake still here?" Hong Chi exclaimed in surprise, staring at the black giant python with wide eyes.
"You ask me how I know? I only know that this snake is at least above the Separation Period. We won't be able to deal with it together!" Ling Mo Xie said with a bitter smile, looking at the giant python.
"Ah, then... how are we supposed to get past it to find the Dragon Snake Grass? Given the current situation, the chances of finding the Nine-Leaf Dragon Snake Herb in that cave are even greater!" Hong Chi said with a troubled expression.
At this moment, his mood was like someone who had gone through countless hardships and finally found a Treasure, only to see a cliff in front of it, with a sign saying, "Alright, let me show you, go back!"
