Ling Mo Xie clicked his tongue in disbelief, but Chen Yan seemed dissatisfied with the effect. She complained to Ling Mo Xie, "This incense is too trashy. The spirit beasts formed from the light smoke that Chen Yan conjured also reached the Mingfu Yuanhu. Some dissipated a wave of resentment with a single bite, while others even pounced directly onto the Mingfu Yuanhu to tear at it.
Ling Mo Xie could clearly see the Mingfu Yuanhu's Health Points decreasing and couldn't help but smile. At this rate, defeating the Mingfu Yuanhu would be no problem!
The Mingfu Yuanhu evidently realized that its situation was becoming dire. It bit down on one of the light smoke spirit beasts and swatted away Chen Yan's approaching palm while glaring viciously at Ling Mo Xie, its resentment boiling over as if it was about to unleash a powerful attack.

The spirit's hollow eyes instilled fear in anyone who looked at them, and its massive mouth gaped wide, revealing sharp black teeth as it charged toward where Ling Mo Xie had been moments before.
Ling Mo Xie was secretly pleased, having predicted that Mingfu Yuanhu would unleash a powerful attack. He had initially used a Flame Clone to evade, but a glance revealed that Sun Xiaoxiao, who should have been recuperating in the refuge camp, was instead standing right behind where he had been.
Now that he had dodged the attack, the vengeful spirit would undoubtedly strike her without any hindrance!
At that moment, Sun Xiaoxiao also noticed the vengeful spirit charging toward her, its terrifying and ferocious appearance causing her to freeze in shock. She stood there dumbfounded, forgetting to evade.
"What the hell! How the hell are you here?"
A curse escaped Ling Mo Xie's lips, but his frustration couldn't be fully captured by just that one expletive.
With no other choice, Ling Mo Xie activated Floating Shadow and rushed toward the vengeful spirit with all his speed.

"Boom!" As countless thick vengeful energies dissipated, Ling Mo Xie wielded the Panlong Sword and unleashed a stunning skill that collided with the vengeful spirit just as he crashed into it.
His Health Points dropped rapidly, causing Ling Mo Xie's face to turn pale. He quickly used the small red bottle, hoping to avoid having his Health Points drop to zero!
"Ding! Congratulations! You have acquired negative statuses: 'Weak,' 'Dizzy,' 'Unconscious'..."

Big White was much smaller than the enlarged Chen Yan and Mingfu Yuanhu and was also of a lower level than them. Yet it hadn’t forgotten Ling Mo Xie's instructions before he fainted. Moreover, it knew that as long as it could level up and restore its full status by killing Mingfu Yuanhu, there was no reason for Ling Mo Xie not to level up!
