Hearing Bai Yunfei's words, Ling Mo Xie rolled his eyes, not realizing that this kid was so stubborn!
"Are you stupid? By leaving that mark, are you enhancing the reputation of your Illusionary Void Sect or tarnishing it?" Ling Mo Xie slapped Bai Yunfei heavily on the chest, shaking his head with a look of disbelief.

Hong Chi stood on a stool by the window, pointing outside and speaking to Ling Mo Xie.
Ling Mo Xie quickly walked to the window and saw those soldiers rapidly searching their way over. He frowned and said, "It's all that Bai Yunfei's fault. Let's go! We need to hide!"
After saying that, he quickly walked to the bed, effortlessly picked up Sun Xiaoxiao, and nodded at Hong Chi. A fire clone transformed into sparks of flame and disappeared in the room, instantly reappearing on a rooftop in a place already searched by the soldiers.
Hong Chi also appeared beside Ling Mo Xie, holding his ever-present Candied Hawthorn, munching away while praising it.
Ling Mo Xie took out a quilt he had previously put in his backpack and spread it on the roof tiles. He carefully placed Sun Xiaoxiao down and then sat beside her, crossing his legs while watching the soldiers searching in the distance.
On another side, an interface for the Alchemical Furnace appeared before him. He placed the Nebula Grass that Bai Yunfei had handed him inside. The icon for Qingyuan Pill immediately lit up, indicating that he could start refining it.
Ling Mo Xie didn't hesitate; it was better to refine the Qingyuan Pill as soon as possible. He directly used his mind to press the "Start" button. A progress bar appeared under the name Qingyuan Pill; it was a level four Elixir that required twenty hours to complete.
"Boss, those soldiers have already searched through; let's go back!" Hong Chi had been standing on the rooftop watching those soldiers. Seeing them leave now, he turned to Ling Mo Xie and said.
Ling Mo Xie nodded and brought Sun Xiaoxiao back into the room, with Hong Chi closely following behind.
As night deepened, Bai Yunfei still hadn't returned. However, Ling Mo Xie wasn't worried at all because his Health Points hadn't decreased, which meant he was still safe.
Ling Mo Xie and Hong Chi were sprawled on the table, fast asleep. Soon, morning arrived, the night faded away, and golden sunlight streamed in through the window.
Hong Chi rubbed his eyes and yawned as he woke up. "Boss, hasn't Brother Bai returned yet?"
Ling Mo Xie stretched lazily and glanced at Bai Yunfei's information. His Health Points were full; he was fine!
"It's nothing. He might have run into some trouble. When he gets back, we'll head to Skywind City. Since Sun Xiaoxiao has found her way here, something might have happened in Skywind City."
Ling Mo Xie stood up, stretching his arms and legs while looking at the sunlight outside, which wasn't too glaring yet. "Ah! What a beautiful day!"
"Not beautiful at all!" came a grumpy voice in response. Ling Mo Xie turned around to see Bai Yunfei.
"What’s wrong now? The mark should be gone by now, right?"
"It is gone, but... zzz!" Bai Yunfei suddenly collapsed onto the floor and began snoring loudly.
"Uh, really?" Ling Mo Xie was taken aback and said to Hong Chi, "He's still a cultivator, right? Even if he doesn't sleep for over ten days, it shouldn't be a problem. How can he be this exhausted after just one night?"
"Who knows what he was up to?" Hong Chi rolled his eyes and glanced at the sprawled Bai Yunfei.
It wasn't until afternoon that Bai Yunfei groggily woke up. As soon as he did, he shouted, "To hell with the Illusionary Void Sect's glory! I'm done with this!"
Ling Mo Xie calmly sat at the table with Hong Chi, playing their homemade Go game. He asked, "What happened this time?"
Bai Yunfei didn't hesitate to complain like a machine gun: "You have no idea! Last night I went to the lord's mansion to erase that mark. Who knew the place was lit up all night? The patrol teams were coming one after another. I suspect he called all the soldiers in the city to patrol for him."

"I won!" Ling Mo Xie exclaimed as he looked at the five connected black pieces on the board. He smiled at Hong Chi and then turned to Bai Yunfei. "Now that you're awake, we need to head back to Skywind City!"
After speaking, Ling Mo Xie picked up Sun Xiaoxiao and draped a silk cloth over her. He tossed a few Spirit Stones to Hong Chi and said, "You go settle the room bill. Bai Yunfei and I can't go out; we might be discovered by Feng Yiqin's people. Just catch up with us later!"
With that, he took Bai Yunfei and left through the window, quickly arriving at a secluded alley before landing on the ground and heading towards the city outskirts.
Due to the commotion caused by Bai Yunfei at the City Lord's Mansion yesterday, the city gates were now under strict guard, with squads of armored soldiers carefully inspecting those leaving the city.
"Count on you!" Ling Mo Xie turned to Bai Yunfei and said.
Bai Yunfei nodded, channeling his Spiritual Energy. He pulled Ling Mo Xie forward like a gust of wind. The people waiting in line for inspection felt a light breeze pass by them and looked up in surprise at the blazing sunlight, wondering why it suddenly got windy.
Having safely left Blazing City, the two did not wait long on the official road between Blazing City and Skywind City before Hong Chi caught up with them.
The three then headed towards Skywind City. However, when they were not far from Skywind City, they suddenly noticed a large crowd of people dressed in various styles approaching them.
Among that crowd, there were quite a few well-dressed individuals who kept glancing back as if they were reluctant to leave.
"Could it be that something really happened in Skywind City?" Ling Mo Xie muttered to himself as he observed the crowd, sensing something was off!
