"What's wrong?" Bai Yunfei asked Ling Mo Xie, who had stopped in his tracks and showed no intention of leaving.
Ling Mo Xie smiled slightly and said, "Why not add some fuel to the fire? The City Lord's Mansion is our ally now, isn't it?" He hesitated to tell Bai Yunfei about the Experience Points, as they were too insignificant for Ling Mo Xie at this stage.

However, Ling Mo Xie was different. Aside from Fireball and Flame Clone skills, his other abilities were grand and powerful when used.
Previously, a Glimpse of the Stunning Swan struck at the Zheng Family members. Suddenly, a Longsword appeared in mid-air, wielded by no one, yet it charged towards the Zheng Family members with an overwhelming Sword Light, instantly slaying one of them.

Feeling dejected, Ling Mo Xie stopped his actions and sighed inwardly. To his surprise, even though he had ceased attacking the Zheng Family members, the System still occasionally notified him of how many Experience Points he had gained—though each time it was very little.
Furrowing his brows in confusion, Ling Mo Xie looked at Bai Yunfei. He noticed that every time Bai Yunfei killed a Zheng Family member, the System would notify him of gaining Experience Points.
Damn! Could it be that Celestial Servants are similar to pets? When they kill monsters, I can also gain Experience Points? Ling Mo Xie thought while stroking his chin, his eyes narrowing with excitement. Those corpses were guards arranged by his father. Today he had brought them into Blazing City to seek revenge on Luo Yan. He was quite lucky... well, rather unfortunate; he hadn't walked far before catching a glimpse of Luo Yan's figure flash by.
There was no need to hesitate. Zheng Zhongtian shouted, leading several Guards in the mid to late stages of the Fasting Period as they rushed into the alley with Luo Yan.
What terrified Zheng Zhongtian to the point of losing control was that the seemingly innocent and adorable child summoned a raging fire with a wave of his hand, resulting in the death of several of his Guards. Just as he intended to call the remaining Guards to protect him while escaping, he saw that Luo Yan had already dealt with the rest of his Guards.
Seeing Zheng Zhongtian in fear, Hong Chi clapped his hands proudly and said to Luo Yan, "Big Ice Block, let's get out of here!"
Luo Yan turned to glance at Hong Chi. Indeed! How could they not leave? With that kid's spell, the nearby houses were engulfed in flames. The only reason Zheng Zhongtian was still alive was that this kid had shown mercy!
If they didn’t leave soon, the City Guard would probably arrive!
"Luo Yan? Haha! What a stroke of luck to find you here without any effort!" A boisterous laugh echoed as a disciple from the Great Luo Sect, who had been searching for Luo Yan, stumbled upon this scene of raging flames. He came over to check the situation and was surprised to find Luo Yan here!
The members of the Great Luo Sect were divided into several small teams searching for Luo Yan. Hong Chi tossed aside his Candied Hawthorn and replied to Luo Yan, "I didn't expect you to be so loyal, but don't think of me as just a burden! Besides..."

"Besides, Brother Mo Xie knows that the Great Luo Sect is hunting you down. It's dangerous to enter the city, so Big White has quietly followed us!" Hong Chi's eyes seemed to ignite with flames; being a Fire Spirit made him quite temperamental and inexplicably enthusiastic about battle.
Luo Yan was taken aback for a moment before a cold smile crept across his icy face. "Is that so? In that case, let's lure them out of the city and avoid attracting any Golden Core Stage experts!"
Boom! Hong Chi did not respond further but waved his hand, manipulating the fire attribute spiritual energy around him into flames that attacked the members of the Great Luo Sect.
"Hmph, you dare to attack me?" The core disciple at the Heart-Feeling Stage snorted coldly, dismissing Big White, Luo Yan, and Hong Chi. He circulated his Spiritual Energy, instantly extinguishing the flames with a blast of frost.
However, seeing that Hong Chi, Luo Yan, and Big White were fleeing towards the outskirts of the city, a flicker of annoyance crossed his face as he shouted, "Chase!" He activated his Spiritual Energy and pursued after Luo Yan and the others.
Several Da Luo Sect disciples who were searching for Luo Yan in the streets also hurriedly followed suit. In no time, about fifty or sixty people had caught up with Luo Yan's group on the outskirts of the city. Among them were six Da Luo Sect disciples at the Heart-Feeling Stage, but they were all at the Initial Stage of Heart Movement or mid-stage.
As for any Golden Core Stage experts, there were none. Those at Golden Core Stage held some status within the Great Luo Sect and naturally would not personally search for Luo Yan like those at Fasting Period or Heart-Feeling Stage; they simply remained leisurely in their positions behind.
You chased each other and soon arrived at a bare, red rocky hillside outside of Flame City. Noticing that they were quite far from Flame City, Hong Chi no longer focused solely on escaping; he occasionally turned around to unleash a fire attack towards the people of the Da Luo Sect behind him.
The flames transformed into birds at times, into fire dragons at others, and sometimes into fire arrows, all skillfully controlled by Xiao Chi.
Big White frequently raised its head to let out a long howl. This was actually the cooldown for its Soul Snatching skill, which it naturally wanted to unleash on the enemies. With each howl from Big White, one of the Da Luo Sect members would fall to the ground, their souls manipulated by Big White to attack others from the Da Luo Sect.
Among them was even a person in the early stages of Heart Movement who lost their life to Big White's howl. It could be said that it was a single strike that reaped great rewards!
Seeing a spirit beast and a child performing so impressively, Luo Yan naturally did not want to fall behind. Dark energy swirled around him, moving like a mass of black clouds. He channeled his spiritual energy towards the direction of the Da Luo Sect disciples chasing them. Meanwhile, at the mine, Ling Mo Xie was casting Fireballs intermittently while frowning at the System interface. Why was there suddenly a continuous stream of notifications about Experience points being gained?
There shouldn't be this many people being killed on Xiao Chi's side. Did they break into the Zheng residence? They couldn't be that foolish, right? They had been warned that there was a Golden Core Ancestor stationed there!
Thinking this through, Ling Mo Xie quickly opened the map System to check Xiao Chi's location and saw that they were on a mountain outside of Flame City.
Furrowing his brows in confusion, he stopped casting Fireballs and walked over to Bai Yunfei, patting him on the shoulder: "Bai Yunfei, it seems like Xiao Chi and the others are in trouble. You keep an eye on things here; I'm going over to take a look!"
