Auspicious took Ruyi and Gao Dalang to the medical clinic. The Li Family shrank back in fear upon seeing Ruyi's face and refused to take care of her at all. Xiao Lihua and Zi Clan went home as well, leaving Fang Family with no choice but to look after Ruyi themselves. They were also frightened by Ruyi’s appearance; considering how she looked now, not only would she struggle to return to Gao Family, but remarrying would be difficult too.
