Qiu Feng walked down the high steps and happened to glance at Uncle Liu.
Qiu Feng looked at Uncle Liu for a moment, then glanced at the car. She had seen it in the newspaper and knew it was the car that Autumn Wind had been using.
With a cold laugh, she walked toward the street, raised her hand to hail a yellow cab, got in, and after giving the address, the taxi started. Qiu Feng turned her head to look at Autumn Wind standing at the door, hatred surging within her.
Autumn Wind, I will not let you off so easily!
Autumn Wind stood behind the glass door, watching Qiu Feng get into the taxi. The memory of that day when Qiu Feng brought Yusha to borrow money flashed in her mind. The person had left, leaving only these sorrowful souls behind.
Fish noticed that Autumn Wind was watching Qiu Feng. She took a deep breath and walked in front of Autumn Wind, gently pulling her hand. "Don't think about the past anymore! It's all over!"
Autumn Wind sniffed and turned to look at Fish. Her eyes were red, and her voice was a bit choked. "Yeah, I won't think about it anymore!" Then she took Fish's hand and walked toward the stairs.
Boss had arranged for Autumn Wind to work with the best stylist in the shop, a spirited young man. Autumn Wind really didn't like boys touching her hair; she pointed to the short-haired girl sitting in the break room.
"Such an excellent handsome guy should help Fish with her hair; I want that girl outside to do my hair! Is that okay?" Autumn Wind said earnestly to Boss.
"Really?!" Before Boss could respond, Fish spoke up first.
"But Sister Qiu, that one is a newcomer in our shop. Are you sure?" Boss glanced at the handsome hairstylist and then whispered.
"A newcomer? Great! Let's give newcomers a chance!" Autumn Wind replied.
Seeing that Autumn Wind was serious and not joking, Boss nodded in agreement and then went out to call for the short-haired girl.
The girl was surprised that someone specifically requested her for a hairstyle and hurriedly walked into Autumn Wind's private room.
She slightly bowed to Autumn Wind, and when she raised her head, she recognized Autumn Wind. "You are Sister Qiu!"
Autumn Wind nodded slightly with a faint smile.
Autumn Wind and Fish followed the Hairstylist assistant to wash their hair, then sat side by side waiting for the Hairstylist to style their hair.
Taking advantage of the fact that the private room was empty, Fish spoke up, "Haven't you contacted Qiu Feng recently?"
"No! With so much happening, who has time to care about anyone else!" Autumn Wind replied weakly, "Why are you suddenly asking this?"

"What do you mean by that? By the way, I've always wondered why you and she don't get along!" Autumn Wind asked Fish in confusion, recalling how Fish and Qiu Feng had never seen eye to eye.
"Haha, that's something you shouldn't worry about. Anyway, people shouldn't always judge by appearances; Qiu Feng isn't as simple as you think..." Fish raised an eyebrow and seriously advised Autumn Wind.
"Why is it like this..." Autumn Wind pressed for more information, but her words were interrupted when the Hairstylist entered.
She swallowed the remaining words back.
Autumn Wind glanced at the name tags on the chests of the Hairstylist, noticing that the handsome guy was named i, while the short-haired girl was named aln.
i skillfully styled Fish's hair in no time. Fish, who usually styled others' hair, slightly closed her eyes, appearing to enjoy the moment.
In contrast to i's proficiency, aln seemed much more cautious. She would Cautiously ask for Autumn Wind's opinion before meticulously working on her hair.
The soothing music turned the haircut into a pleasurable experience. As Autumn Wind stared at herself in the mirror, she suddenly felt an impulse to cut her hair short. She glanced at Fish, estimating that if she expressed such a thought, Fish would scold her again.
An assistant knocked on the door, signaling that i had a customer and needed to step out. i leaned close to Fish's ear and whispered something. Through the mirror, Autumn Wind noticed that Fish's face turned red when i leaned in to speak.
After i left, Autumn Wind looked at Fish through the reflection in the mirror and asked, "Why are you blushing?"
Fish reached out to touch her own face but didn't answer Autumn Wind. Instead, she stared intently at aln and asked, "Is she your mentor?"
Autumn Wind noticed that aln's hand trembled slightly before a low voice came from aln's lips, "Well, sort of!"
"Have you two been intimate?" Fish squinted her eyes and asked.
Upon hearing the question about the fish, Autumn Wind felt something slide past her ear, cold and unsettling. Instinctively, she reached up to touch it.
Relieved that there was no bleeding, Autumn Wind sighed deeply at her pale reflection in the mirror. After calming herself slightly, she said, "Hey, why are you asking that?"
The fish let out a hearty laugh. "Looks like I guessed right, haha! Don't let him touch you again; otherwise, you'll get into trouble!"
Autumn Wind shot a glare at the fish, signaling her to stop.
She waved her hand, indicating for aln to continue.
Aln's hands trembled slightly as she softly apologized to Autumn Wind before resuming the haircut.
"I'm not joking..." The fish's words were cut short as i pushed the door open and walked in.
i sensed that something was off in the atmosphere. He leaned in close to the fish and whispered something before continuing with the haircut.
Aside from the lingering blush on her face, the fish acted as if nothing had happened.
i quickly finished styling the fish's hair and arranged for an assistant to come in and give her a massage before stepping out.
Meanwhile, aln remained cautious as she busily worked on Autumn Wind's hair.
Aln nearly finished her task at the same time as the assistant completed the massage for the fish. She sighed and asked, "Sister Qiu, is this okay?"
Autumn Wind glanced at herself in the mirror. Although it was somewhat conventional, she felt satisfied. She smiled slightly and said, "Thank you!"
After receiving Autumn Wind's approval, aln waved for the assistant to come in and help with Autumn Wind's massage.
"No need; I don't want a massage!" Autumn Wind interrupted aln. "Let's go!" She turned to the fish.
"Alright!" The fish sprang up from the comfortable leather chair. As she passed by aln, she whispered again, "If you want to avoid getting hurt, remember to listen to me..."
"Let's go!" Hearing the fish ramble on to aln again, Autumn Wind pulled her along as they headed downstairs.
Autumn Wind gracefully paid the bill for Fish and Qiu Feng. Boss offered discounts, but when Autumn Wind glanced at the bill, she found no discounts at all; it was actually more expensive than other places.
Autumn Wind smiled at the bill, said nothing, and after a polite exchange with Boss, walked out of the hair salon.
When Ahe saw Autumn Wind and Fish come out, she got out of the passenger seat and eagerly opened the car door for them.
As soon as they sat in the car, Fish began to complain, "That Boss is really unreasonable. It was so much more expensive, yet he still claims to give discounts. It's infuriating! Remember to raise his rent next time! So annoying!"
"Haha, you know that too!" Autumn Wind squinted at Fish.

"Why would I lie to you? I'm serious!" Fish continued leaning in closer to Autumn Wind, saying, "I had the same teacher as i. At that time, I had just broken up with Leo, so..."
"Oh, I see!" Autumn Wind responded as if enlightened, but then she suddenly noticed that Ahe had leaned back in her seat, seemingly listening intently to her and Fish's conversation.
Questions surged in Autumn Wind's mind again. Why was that? Did Ahe have any ulterior motives?
A deep voice from Uncle Liu interrupted her thoughts, "Sister, where are we going now?"
"To Breeze!” Fish interjected before Autumn Wind, “Sister Qiu wants to buy clothes!"
"Okay, Uncle Liu, let's go to Breeze!"
Autumn Wind and Fish browsed around Breeze until after six o'clock. Usually, it was Fish who bought bags full of clothes, but this time it was different. After trying on various outfits, Autumn Wind chose her favorite one to wear.
Then she tossed all the other clothes into the trunk and sat in the car with a radiant expression.
Fish opened the car door and sat beside Autumn Wind, sensing something unusual about Autumn Wind. She asked, "Do you have plans tonight?"
"Yeah, how did you know?"
"You look so glamorous; you must have something going on. Care to share?" Fish's curiosity radar was activated. "Are you going on a date? With whom?"
"A date? It's not that serious. Just meeting a few old friends!" Autumn Wind had no intention of hiding anything from Fish.
"Old friends! Oh! Do you still have old friends?"
"Huang Zihe and..."
"Ah..." Just as Autumn Wind uttered a few words, Fish screamed loudly, "You mean the captain Huang Zihe from the concert at National Stadium last night!"
Fish's mouth dropped wide open, and Autumn Wind wished she could stuff an egg in it. She nodded slightly, "Yeah!"

"You think it's that easy? Uncle Liu is going to Meijiali Restaurant on Civic Avenue!" Autumn Wind named the Western restaurant and then turned away, ignoring Fish further.
"Please, I'm begging you!"
"No way!"
No matter how much the Fish pleaded, Autumn Wind refused. In the end, the Fish gave up, panting as they leaned back in the seat. "Fine, I won't go. But you better be mentally prepared! You have to get photographed today!"
"Let them take pictures. A clear conscience fears no accusation. Besides, it's not like I've never been in the Newspaper!"
"Oh, someone's getting bold! Good luck to you!"
During their conversation, the car had already arrived at the entrance of the Western restaurant. Autumn Wind got out of the car herself. "Uncle Liu, please take the Fish home first. I'll call you when I'm about to finish, and you and Ahe can go grab a bite to eat!"
Uncle Liu nodded, and the Fish leaned out of the window. "Are you sure you don't need me to help cover for you?"
"No need! Let's go!" Autumn Wind put on a fearless expression, waved goodbye to the Fish, and walked into the restaurant.
