Superstar Singing Contest is the Singing Competition program that Liu Jiajia arranged for Qiu Ruolan. Hearing these seven words come out of Liu Jian's mouth, and knowing it was arranged by Wang Shaowu, Autumn Wind felt a chill run down her back.
Since Liu Jian joined the Wang Shaowu Law Firm, Autumn Wind has been constantly worried that he would become involved with the entertainment industry, eventually getting tangled up and inevitably meeting Qiu Ruolan. Not wanting to interrupt Liu Jian's enthusiasm or continue recalling memories related to Qiu Ruolan, she pretended to adjust her hair by running her fingers through it and then plugged her ears with her fingers. Yet, it seemed like there was magic in Liu Jian's voice; it not only didn't diminish but grew louder and more melodic.
On the fifth day after Leo left, the challenge round of the competition took place as scheduled.
During the competition day, Autumn Wind dropped off Liu Jian at the television station. Although he repeatedly emphasized that she could come in, she chose to leave instead of facing Qiu Ruolan. She told him a grand yet reasonable excuse: "I'm afraid I'll get too nervous for you if I'm there; I'll just watch the live broadcast at home!"
Despite saying this, once back home, she deliberately avoided watching the premiere of Liu Jian's challenge program. It wasn't until after the competition ended and while waiting for him to return home that she quickly skimmed through several clips online of him singing and announcing results. She truly lacked the courage to face an image where both Qiu Ruolan and Liu Jian appeared together.

Although Liu Jian's frozen food from the fridge was unexpectedly praised by everyone when served at the table, Autumn Wind, who is well aware of the rules of the entertainment industry, knows it is not as simple as Liu Jian thinks. Autumn Wind naturally knew about this news from earlier when Liu Jian was photographed at Fish Store. He shrugged, folded the newspaper in half, tossed it back into the drawer, and then looked up nonchalantly. "Why should I look at this? Wasn't I there?"

On screen, Liu Jian still looked radiant while Qiu Ruolan enthusiastically praised his recent performance. Autumn Wind, already feeling anxious, became completely unsettled now. Could it be that Wang Shaowu and Qiu Ruolan had deliberately arranged this?!
As this terrifying thought emerged, it shattered Autumn Wind's carefully maintained calmness. He immediately closed his iPad and hurriedly stuffed it into his bag. Turning around, he noticed the newspaper he had pushed aside earlier and quickly grabbed it, deftly crumpling it into a ball before tossing it into the trash can.

The sound of the wind chime at the shop door interrupted the fish's roar as a customer walked in. The fish quickly composed herself and hurried to greet the newcomer.
