Qiu Mowen grabbed her as she tried to step into the unit door, but Autumn Wind stubbornly turned her face away, not allowing Qiu Mowen to see her face.

Autumn Wind vaguely sensed that her confrontation with Shaolan was about to begin.
Time slowly progressed, and everything became uncertain.
It seemed that there were always different news in the entertainment industry, but what shocked Autumn Wind the most now was: S was dead.
The news came from Fish, who had just given birth and officially transitioned from a behind-the-scenes person to a variety show wife. She was unaware that Autumn Wind was in mainland China, and aside from complaining that Autumn Wind hadn't come to see her, she bombarded Autumn Wind with gossip: "It's been so long since I've seen you! Fish spoke of the model's death as suspicious. The model had given birth to a baby girl whose father was unknown. It seemed that behind the scenes, the model had been asking her brothers to handle this matter, and although the baby's father had agreed to come forward, the model suddenly jumped off a building. Fish also mentioned a name that sent chills down Autumn Wind's spine: Prince Andrew.
— "If you hadn't been taken away by that Ervin back then, who knows? You might have ended up like her. Tell me honestly, do you still have contact with Ervin?"
At the mention of Qiu Mowen, Autumn Wind suddenly felt weak all over and slid down from her chair like a thin piece of paper. The only customer in the store was surrounding Li Gu, changing some information. Upon seeing Autumn Wind sitting on the floor, they immediately burst into laughter.
Autumn Wind struggled to sit up, managed to get back on her feet, and forced out a smile.
As expected, news related to S erupted in the afternoon. Autumn Wind was reading this news while Shaolan sat next to her, and Li Gu was enthusiastically chatting about cars with his buddies. Their voices were loud, and no one would notice Autumn Wind and Shaolan.
Shaolan was admiring her meticulously manicured nails in the mirror, examining her delicate features. "Do you know S?"
Autumn Wind shook her head. Shaolan shifted her position. "Aren't you also an assistant? Didn't her ex-boyfriend work with Zhou Ringuo?"
Autumn Wind knew that the ex-boyfriend Shaolan mentioned was Yao Guanghao, and as far as she knew, Yao Guanghao had indeed worked with Zhou Ringuo. Autumn Wind raised an eyebrow. "I'm not Zhou Ringuo's assistant in Taiwan; just because he knows someone doesn't mean I have to know them!"

Shaolan burst into a loud, carefree laugh. She laughed so hard that Li Gu, busy choosing a car nearby, turned his face toward her. Seeing this, Shaolan put away the mirror, grabbed her mixed-color Hermès bag, huffed, and walked out of the copy shop in her black knee-high boots that were covered in mud.
Two hours later, when Autumn Wind was alone in the store, Qiu Mowen appeared again. Since Li Gu had gone out of town with Shaolan, Autumn Wind no longer worried about any unpleasantness caused by Li Gu's presence.
Qiu Mowen was wearing a long trench coat. Autumn Wind gestured for him to sit in Li Gu's spot and turned to face him at the panda radiator.
