"Come and take my life!" Ouyang Zhentian's Golden Silk Great Ring Blade flashed, and just as he was about to strike, a ball of black fire surged toward the two of them, exploding with a loud bang and shattering the ice surface.

A hint of coldness flashed in the Serpent Empress's eyes as she smiled at Xiang Xueer: "Indeed, I prefer dealing with you directly; no need for beating around the bush."
It was clear that this Serpent Empress couldn't possibly be so kind as to help her out of goodwill. Given her nature, it would be surprising if she didn't attack from behind. It seemed she had been lurking nearby for quite some time.
"Speak!" Xiang Xueer fixed her gaze on the Serpent Empress. The latter immediately smiled broadly, revealing her Fox Tail: "Actually, there's nothing special; I just wanted to ask if our previous agreement still stands?"

The Serpent Empress had been hiding behind a tree for some time, observing. It seemed Gu Liu Ma was indeed trapped in the middle. With that, she used a sudden movement to appear behind Xiang Xueer. Suddenly feeling a cold sensation on her back followed by excruciating pain, she gasped as the attack struck.
