“Ha ha ha!” The woman's charming laughter echoed as No Woman stepped out slowly from behind the pillar, her long sleeves trailing behind her. The scattered strands of hair on the ground were undoubtedly hers.
“Hmph!” Gu Liu Ma let out a cold snort, looking sideways at the wooden door with a hint of disappointment. “I came to find the Black Dragon and don't want to waste time with someone like you!”
“Oh!” No Woman tilted her head, unable to discern the expression behind her white mask. She shook her head, “That won't do. Holy Monarch is currently unavailable and can't meet you, so I’ll have to entertain you instead!”
As soon as No Woman finished speaking, Gu Liu Ma frowned. Two strands of hair suddenly shot out from the eaves and silently ensnared his feet. He struggled to break free, but the seemingly soft black hair was more binding than steel.
“What a troublesome weapon!” Gu Liu Ma squinted and sighed coldly. Suddenly, No Woman's body flashed, revealing a sword as long as her arm from within her long sleeves. She leaped forward, aiming to stab him fiercely.
‘Thud!’ The sound of the sword piercing wood rang out. No Woman looked closely and found that Gu Liu Ma had already vanished. Turning around, she saw that he had circled behind her and kicked her hard in the back.
“Ah!” No Woman cried out in surprise as she was forcefully knocked to the ground. What kind of trick did that old man use to escape my hair?
“Who exactly are you?” She turned in shock to stare at Gu Liu Ma. As the third general under the Black Dragon, her strength was not to be underestimated, and those who could break free from her hair were few and far between.
“Holy Ten Exorcists, Second: Gu Liu Ma!” Gu Liu Ma's eyes remained fixed on the black wooden door; this woman before him had not caught his interest at all.
Holy Ten, still the second one! No Woman was astonished upon hearing this; she never expected to encounter such a formidable opponent today. Slowly rising to her feet, she gripped her sword tightly and shouted at Gu Liu Ma, “In that case, I cannot allow you to step through the folding fan door.”
“Oh?” Gu Liu Ma's gaze swept over No Woman, a cold Killing Intent flickering in his eyes. “Then let's see if you have what it takes.”
To block Gu Liu Ma from entering and buy time for the Black Dragon Saint Lord to heal, No Woman raised her sword and challenged Gu Liu Ma, the second of Holy Ten.
Meanwhile, on Bai Ling Mountain, Ling Zhu and Platypus finally made it up the mountain. However, after walking less than halfway, Duck collapsed on the ground as if suffering from asthma, unable to move.
"Hey, can you please move a little faster?" Ling Zhu stood impatiently in place, having waited for it twenty-eight times already. Duck trembled and extended a hand weakly, shaking it: "I can't do it anymore, I really can't climb any further. It's more exhausting than climbing Duckbill Mountain!"
Ling Zhu looked up at the sky; the sun was about to set. If they didn't hurry, they wouldn't reach the mountain top before nightfall, let alone find the Thousand-Year Ganoderma. Such spiritual herbs typically grew on high cliffs and were quite sentient; if they sensed someone coming to collect them, they would have long since vanished without a trace.
Duck touched its chest: "I feel like I can't breathe, my legs are weak. Could it be that this mountain is rejecting me?"
"You're overthinking it!" Ling Zhu frowned and lifted Platypus, trudging toward the mountain top. With nightfall approaching, even if this was a fairy mountain, there could still be monsters like Black Widow lurking around.
As Ling Zhu muttered to herself, she suddenly found that she couldn't proceed any further. Turning her head, she saw that Duck seemed to be blocked by something. She reached out to touch the air and immediately felt a ripple of colorful waves spread out.
She was startled; so there was a barrier here? The rippling sensation she had touched earlier was indeed the barrier. But since she could enter, why couldn't Duck?
"Hey, what is this thing?" Platypus sat on the ground poking at it for a while and then desperately tried to squeeze through but ended up being ruthlessly blocked outside the barrier.
"How could this happen?" Ling Zhu furrowed her brows and suddenly recalled a legend she had heard before: "It is said that Bai Ling Mountain is a fairy mountain that fell from the celestial realm to the human world. This mountain is rich in talent and spirit, surrounded by fairy mist, filled with rare beasts and spiritual herbs. However, monsters cannot ascend here."
"Monsters?" Duck pointed at its own nose: "I'm a monster for sure, but aren't you also a monster? Why can you go in while I can't?"
Ling Zhu reached out and gave Duck's head a hard smack: "When did I ever say I was a monster? You shameless fool!"
"Aren't you a monster?" Platypus asked in surprise. Previously, it had seen her use Vine to save Xiang Xueer and thought she was a Tree Demon.
"Don't confuse me with you! I'm Bodhi Fruit; I'm Celestial Fruit, not a monster!" Ling Zhu stood up angrily and turned to look up the mountain: "Anyway, you can't help much, so just stay here and wait for me!"
Upon hearing this, Platypus jumped three feet high: "You don't mean you're going to find the Ganoderma by yourself, do you? No way! Otherwise, all the credit will go to you alone!"
This fool, at this moment, is actually thinking about how to take credit. She shook her head and said, "Alright, just say you found it all by yourself when we get back. Don't worry!"
"Really!" The Platypus stared with wide eyes, unable to believe what had just happened with Ling Zhu, who had already gone far away. Ling Zhu climbed up Bai Ling Mountain by herself while Duck was stopped halfway up by a barrier. She thought about heading toward the cliffside. In such a vast mountain, finding a spiritual herb was no easy task.
By the time she found the place, it was already dark. Ling Zhu stood at the edge of the cliff, looking down at the towering precipice. The cold wind blowing from below carried a strong sense of danger, making one shiver involuntarily.
On the opposite cliff, there were flickering lights. She squinted her eyes to look; a large area was shining brightly, dazzling like a galaxy. If she estimated correctly, that area should be the Thousand-Year Lingzhi Cluster. These spirits liked to come out in groups at night to play.
Ling Zhu waved her hand, and the Vine from her sleeve flew toward the opposite cliff with a whoosh and fixed itself onto the rock face. She leaped forward as if descending from heaven.
With a slap! Ling Zhu successfully pressed against the steep cliff face. The moss-covered edge was extremely slippery, and she exerted great effort to stabilize herself on the stone wall.

As Ling Zhu's fingers touched the edge of the ganoderma, suddenly the little creatures began to scatter in all directions. Then one of them suddenly transformed shape, opening its large mouth filled with sharp teeth right in front of her finger and lunging at it.
