She quickly dodged, and with a loud 'thud', dust rose from the ground, causing her to squint. After a moment, she opened her eyes and realized that the girl who had just fallen was the one who had been in Incubus's hands.
Xiang Xueer's eyelids twitched slightly as she cautiously approached and pushed the girl. As a result, the girl turned around, and her face had already transformed into that of a Dried Corpse, looking so terrifying that Xiang Xueer quickly stepped back.
"No way, could she have been drained?" Xiang Xueer frowned. Suddenly, she heard movement behind her and quickly turned around. The sight of a grotesque face startled her; it still wore a mouth full of fangs and seemed ready to reach out and grab her.
"Sweetheart, I'm right here!" A voice that sent chills down her spine came from behind her head; it was Incubus. When had this beast stood behind her without making a sound?
Xiang Xueer began to counterattack mercilessly, but as soon as she swung her fist, that bastard blocked it. With a swoosh, he darted around her like a ghost, moving so fast that her eyes couldn't keep up. No matter how hard she tried to attack, she couldn't land a hit.
"Damn monster!" Xiang Xueer gritted her teeth, her eagle-like eyes fixed on the erratic figure. Holding her breath, she listened carefully, knowing she had to catch his form in an instant.
Gradually, Xiang Xueer lowered her body and shifted her weight. Suddenly, out of the corner of her eye, she spotted a branch on the ground about the thickness of her wrist. She reached down and picked it up; she had been worried about not having a weapon.
"Sweetheart, I'm right here! Wahaha!" That bastard Incubus continued to taunt her, clearly enjoying himself. Xiang Xueer turned around and swung the branch in her hand; she calculated perfectly, hitting right at the monster.
With a 'smack', Incubus caught the branch with one hand. She was startled; before she could react, his other hand seized her neck with such force that it felt like he might crush her throat.
"Hah!" Incubus looked down at her expression, sizing her up for a moment before shaking his head in disappointment. "Ah, turns out you're just a little girl. What a waste of my time!"
A little girl? Anger flared within Xiang Xueer, and she kicked him right between his legs where he was most vulnerable. He let out a scream of pain and released his grip on her neck, clutching that area while howling in agony.
Hmph, I didn't expect even a demon to be afraid of being kicked there! Xiang Xueer sneered coldly and side-kicked him to the ground. "Hmph! This is what you get for looking down on flat-chested girls, you stinky Incubus!
"You dead girl, I'm going to kill you and drink all your blood!" The roar of the Incubus sounded like a beast, shaking the entire forest. Xiang Xueer saw the monster coming to grab her, so she took two steps back, performed a backflip, and landed on the Tree Trunk. Using the momentum, she kicked it hard in the face twice.
"Hmph! You dare to look down on me? I'll show you some color!" Xiang Xueer shouted angrily, snapping a long branch in half against her leg. The jagged edges were like blades as she spun it in her hands, as if playing with daggers.
The Incubus staggered back a few steps, covering its face where it had been kicked, furious. Stretching out its hands, sharp claws suddenly emerged from its fingertips. "Little girl, I'm going to slaughter you!"
