Xiang Xueer shouted, and suddenly felt darkness before her eyes, dizziness overwhelming her. With a 'thud', she collapsed to the ground and lost consciousness. When she woke up, she saw Nursemaid sitting beside her, holding her bandaged hand and continuously wiping away tears.
"Hmph, it seems I'm not that miserable after all. Although my grandmother is indifferent and my grandfather doesn't love me, at least there's someone who cares," Xiang Xueer slowly sat up and patted Nursemaid's shoulder. "It's okay, stop crying. I'm not going to die!"
As Xiang Xueer reached out, the dizziness had faded, but her hand was excruciatingly painful. The saying "the fingers are connected to the heart" was no joke. She strained to recall what had happened earlier, only remembering that she had been dealt with by Ouyang Zhentian, and everything afterward was a blur.

Just then, Qingtian walked to her door and saw her standing outside. Concerned, he asked, "How are you? You fainted suddenly and scared me!"
Xiang Xueer forced a smile on her face. "What's wrong? Are you so worried about me?"
"Hmph!" Qingtian chuckled softly. "After all, you're the one I saved. If something happened to you, I wouldn't feel right about it. But I really don't understand why your father treats you this way!"
Xiang Xueer pouted but looked relaxed. "It's normal. You're a man of fame and status; having a daughter who is useless would naturally make him feel ashamed. However, I still have to thank you for saving me; otherwise, I wouldn't be alive now or in such good shape!"
This point puzzled Qingtian, who asked with confusion, "But if you were truly foolish before, why have you suddenly become so normal? No wonder your father thinks you're possessed by a demon!"
