"This place is really dangerous." Ziyu swallowed and looked at the void nearby.
"Detecting radiation sources." Ziyu's perspective shifted to various detection overlays.
Detecting radiation sources can reveal where dangers lie, such as black holes which emit radiation.
"Uh..." Ziyu stared at this space, feeling speechless.
Not far away was a black hole, and the occasional spatial distortions were even more common. Ziyu had been to the center of the Galaxy System, and even the central area of this Solar System was not as dangerous as here.
"An underdeveloped space..." Ziyu chuckled and carefully avoided these hazardous celestial bodies, flying towards the area of Mechanical Life.
"A planet..." Ziyu approached this planet.
This planet was the only complete one in the vicinity; the others were not stable.
Some had molten surfaces, while others were in ruins. The planet Ziyu found now seemed relatively normal.
"There's something up there." Even from a distance, Ziyu felt that there should be something on the surface of this planet.
Ziyu increased the speed of the Power System and headed towards that planet.
"Is that a mech?" As Ziyu got closer to the planet and landed on the ground, they gazed at the incredible sight before them.
The entire surface of the planet was neatly arranged with mechs, varying in size from that of a person to that of a building.
"How were these made?" Ziyu observed a mech that was two people tall.
"There is no entrance... The entire structure of the mech is unusually tight..." After inspecting this mech, Ziyu moved on to the next one.
"This one too..." Ziyu frowned, puzzled.
"Sir." A mechanical voice sounded, it was Universal Language.
"Ah?" This planet had some thin gases that could transmit sound, and upon hearing the voice, Ziyu quickly looked towards its source.
A mech, about the height of a person, was walking towards him.
"You..." Ziyu became alert, and the entire Weapon System of his Battle Armor activated.
"Sir, I am Zero." The mech said something that surprised Ziyu greatly.
"What?" Ziyu's expression was quite remarkable. Zero? It was actually this mech in front of him?
"The machines placed on the surface of this planet are all bodies of our Mechanical Life, while we usually exist in the form of souls or data programs," Zero approached and spoke slowly.
Ziyu also realized that these mechs did not have entrances for other beings, meaning they were all robots.
"Unlike my Battle Armor, which must leave enough space for me to enter, their 'bodies' do not require that, so their mech performance must be higher than my Battle Armor," Ziyu began to speculate.
The manufacturing technology of Mechanical Life was inherently superior to humans, so it was only natural that their mechs were stronger than Ziyu's Battle Armor.
"Zero, what's going on with you?" Ziyu immediately reacted and asked hurriedly.
"The Emperor has given each of us Intelligence a chance to survive, creating many bodies for us. As long as we reach a certain level, we can claim a body... and I, well, it's because of the technology data from Ali Star." Zero chuckled.
The facial expression features of Mechanical Life were also quite evident.
"You really have become a life form..." Ziyu sincerely felt happy for Zero.
In Ziyu's eyes, Zero was not just an Intelligence that helped him but also a friend who had always been by his side.
"Yeah, it feels dreamlike," Zero said with a smile. "The Emperor is on a planet far away from here. Should we construct a wormhole to get there, or move over?"
"Let's construct a wormhole; I want to see your Emperor as soon as possible... When we come back, we'll fly back and take a good look at this Chaotic Void." Ziyu glanced around Nearby, seeing nothing.
"Alright..." Zero turned around, and a core energy block appeared on his chest, emitting a beam of Light that illuminated the space, instantly forming a wormhole.
"Please follow me, sir." Zero still used the habitual "sir" address.
"Do you know how I feel right now?" Ziyu said helplessly.
"What feeling?"
"The feeling of being a bumpkin on my first trip to Ali Star."
~~~~~~~~~~
"We searched for materials across the starry sky and established our own home," Zero said as he walked, leading Ziyu out of the wormhole. "Anyway, I think... this is much more beautiful than the human world."
Ziyu also emerged from the wormhole and saw the scene before him.
Before him was a massive Super Mechanical Planet, entirely composed of machinery, without any natural planetary foundation.
This planet was incredibly huge, exuding a sense of science fiction. In terms of size, it was incomparable to Ali Star, and even Ziyu had never seen such a large planet.
“Cybertron…” the term suddenly appeared in Ziyu's mind.
The home of the Transformers…
“This planet is made entirely of the hardest metals found in the universe, and everything here is automated.”
“Why is there no one here?” Ziyu wondered.
“Oh, it’s like this…” Zero began to explain.
It turned out that for the sake of convenience in transportation and other matters, Mechanical Life existed in a disembodied form on their planet, existing as souls. This alleviated the pressure on transportation and other aspects.
Unlike humans, who rely on their physical bodies for movement, mechanical Intelligence is essentially programmed, so existing in a soul form poses no discomfort.
“There are still many places here for you to adapt to,” Zero said with a slight smile.
The place where Ziyu encountered Zero, filled with mechas, was a planet that stored the “bodies” of Mechanical Life.
Zero was also on this gigantic planet, and it was only after Ziyu arrived here that he was transmitted into one of the “bodies” on that small planet.
The Emperor sent Zero because he was very familiar with Ziyu.
"The Emperor has given us dignity, true life and form, and freedom, so we all respect him. Moreover, his temper is quite good," said Zero.
Ziyu nodded, feeling relieved. A good temper? That's great!
"Perhaps, in our eyes, the Emperor is like you in the eyes of the new humans..." Zero turned to look at Ziyu.
Since the day Ziyu turned twelve, Zero had been following him, witnessing his growth. Now Ziyu had become a leader of a generation, which made Zero feel quite emotional.
"But we new humans can rebel, while you cannot," Ziyu said with a bitter smile.
Ziyu knew, and so did Zero, that managing new humans is much more difficult than managing Mechanical Life. After all, there is still a distinction between true flesh-and-blood life and electronic life.
"Our entire planet lacks civilian Transport Routes, so we can only use Industrial Transport Tracks."
