"Um... this... Mom and Dad, let me explain it to you properly. Once I'm done explaining, you'll accept that we're together."
Ziyu stared blankly at his parents, while Ye Ling sat beside him, tightly holding Ziyu's hand.
His parents had previously lost a child, who had gone missing... After Ye Ling was born, they never mentioned that incident again.
"Ye Ling's existence isn't because of you... um... it's because of you..." Ziyu didn't know how to phrase it, so he just recounted the entire event and explained that Ye Ling was actually Lan now.
"Are you saying that our daughter is no longer our daughter?" His parents looked at Ziyu, still confused.
"Um... yes, that's certain. What I want to express is that we can be together." Ziyu's gaze was very firm.
"That's good..." His parents sighed in relief.
"Will there be any issues with marrying a close relative?" After Ziyu finally convinced his parents with great effort, Ye Ling asked.
"With technology being so advanced now, what can't be done..." Ziyu chuckled, "As long as we don't disclose that we're siblings, it will be fine."
"When the day comes for the new humans to be independent, we'll get married," Ziyu said while touching his nose.

Ziyu handed over the technical data to the organization, and soon Earth entered a phase of rapid development.
Ziyu returned to the Galaxy System he had jumped from to Ali Star and noticed the search team from Ali Star. Fortunately, without Intelligence, they wouldn't come to Earth for the time being.
Six months later, the Super Wormhole construction technology matured. The entire planet Earth began to traverse and reached a New Human Planet near a neighboring Star Domain. They built a New Solar System alongside another one that roamed the Solar System and formed an alliance with that New Human Planet.
A year later, several hundred New Human Planets had reached this Star Domain, and Earth had nearly attained the capabilities of a medium-sized planet.
Ziyu returned to the original Solar System and discovered that it had essentially been destroyed; it seemed that the people of the Yufeng Universe Nation had already been there.
A month later, the Yufeng Universe Nation launched an attack, which was successfully repelled for the first time.
The Yufeng Universe Nation discovered the new humans' Earth-centered stronghold.
Half a month later, the new humans were established.
"I am not a sage, nor do I possess any special abilities... but what I want to say is that we must become independent." Ziyu stood in the square on Earth, where many other planetary leaders were also present.
"Many planets have already suffered slaughter. In the eyes of humanity, we new humans are merely slaves, tools for their survival. They have created the Core Group from among our most outstanding individuals to ensure their own survival, while those deemed unqualified as Core Group members have their hometowns directly destroyed."
"You may wonder how I know this. Let me tell you: I was once a member of the Core Group. All my teammates in my Squad, except for me, died during a mission, and after their deaths, my teammates' hometowns were subjected to slaughter by Ali Star."
"Afterward, I investigated several planets and found that this phenomenon was not coincidental at all. It is a conspiracy by Ali Star. They will kill those they deem useless without mercy."
"We are new humans. Even if we were created by Ali Star or by the Yufeng Universe Nation, we still deserve rights—the right to exist."
"We need independence; we are a brand-new and excellent race."
"We possess brains with greater potential than humans. We will become the leaders of this universe..."
Ziyu spoke word by word from the square.
"Ali Star has already come once; they know about our alliance. In the future... we will face even greater difficulties, so we must resist."
"I possess all the technology of Ali Star. The entirety of Ali Star's technology is essentially all the technology of the Yufeng Universe Nation. I will select and distribute it; you must apply it on your planets and develop."
Ziyu decided to filter the technology and share some of it with other planets.
Strengthening overall power is essential for achieving independence.
"We cannot be at the mercy of others, so we must progress. What do you think?" Ziyu looked at the other planets' Leaders.
"Alright... but how can we ensure our interests are protected?" Many Leaders were pondering this question.
Previously, there was an alliance, which meant mutual assistance among everyone. However, after independence, it would become a vast race centered around Earth.
Earth would undoubtedly become the strongest planet among these others during its development, and the Leaders were concerned that Earth would exploit weaker planets once it gained powerful military strength.
"Rest assured, we are one race, and we will naturally coexist peacefully... You can supervise us. If Earth engages in any outrageous activities, you can unite to take action against us."
Ziyu was not worried because Earth would never engage in any outrageous behavior.
This independence was genuinely for the benefit of the new humanity, not just for Earth's development.
"Well... alright then..."
After much contemplation, everyone finally agreed.
This management model would have Earth at the helm, leading countless subordinate planets, while all planets other than Earth would form an alliance to prevent Earth from infringing on any planet's rights.
Of course, Ziyu was not afraid of these planets uniting against Earth because they all had a mutually beneficial relationship; if Earth did not overstep, they would not act against it. This was akin to ancient Chinese dynasties—there were certainly treacherous officials, but there were also loyal ones.
"From today, at this moment, we are an independent race—the new humanity," Ziyu stood up and declared loudly.

Following this declaration, multiple incursions by Ali Star were resisted by a united front of Earth and other planets.
Ten years later, Earth entered the ranks of advanced planets.
"Sir, your technology has been completed." A voice from the Intelligence system echoed.
Ziyu later recognized the importance of Intelligence and thus programmed a simple Intelligence with only calculation and operational capabilities, disconnecting it so that this Intelligence would not encounter any issues.
The new technology that Ziyu was researching aimed to make Mysterious Metal powerful enough to achieve self-replication.
Once this technology was completed, Ziyu would not fear any spacecraft or other technological means.
"Is it done?" Ziyu chuckled, "Ye Ling, we're having our wedding tomorrow!"
Ziyu had promised to marry Ye Ling after the matters concerning the new humanity, but various issues had delayed it. Eventually, Ziyu simply set it aside and stopped worrying about it.
Now, Ziyu had reached a new stage, and the future Ziyu would be very powerful.
Of course, this also meant having the ability to protect what needed to be protected.
